Hawk's Eye Quartz Lads

Night

(Sorry I've been super busy lately, except to see more stories coming in :)) )
     Aquamarine, Obsidian and White Moonstone had gone out that day to hang out with Moonie's human friends. Sunstone had decided he'd stay in the shack that day and relax. It was night when they were walking back home and the moon was full casting enough light for them to see clearly. Moonie though saw something out the corner of his eye and turned. A shell was partially buried in the sand, the top of it stuck out. Moonie walked away from Aquamarine and Obsidian and grabbed the shell. It was nice but not one of his favorites.
    "Obby I have a gift for you" Moonie called out. Obsidian turned around to see White Moonstone walking up to him.
    "It's a shell I found" He said happily as he handed the shell to him. Obsidian smiled and took it.
    "It's a nice shell Moonie, I like the grooves in it" Obsidian said nicely. Moonie was always giving him shells as gifts. Aquamarine had walked far ahead of them.
    "Hey Obby, what if I sneak up on Aqua and try to scare him" Moonie said with a grin.
    "I'm not stopping you" Obsidian said. Moonie very gently got closer and closer to Aquamarine.
    "Aqua!" he yelled and grabbed his shoulders. Aquamarine jumped and yelped a bit from shock.
    "I got you!" Moonie said laughing, Obsidian jogged chuckling too.
    "You know I really hate you two sometimes" Aqua said annoyed.
    "You love us Aqua" Moonie said teasingly. Aqua turned to give him the cold shoulder.
    "Oh c'mon Aqua, smile" Moonie said. Aqua didn't respond but crossed his arms.
    "If your gonna be a big sourpuss I'm gonna have to tackle you" Moonie said. Aqua didn't move.
    "Alrighty Aqua..." Moonie said pulling Aquamarine into a big hug and gently pulled him to sit down.
    Once on the ground Aqua stayed in Moonie's arms and Obsidian sat down next to White Moonstone. Moonie snuggled against Aqua's neck and giggled cutely. Aquamarine smiled enjoying the attention he was receiving. Obsidian laid his head on Moonie's shoulder and closed his eyes being relaxed with his favorite gems. The three of them sat their lovingly and completely relaxed in each others company. They all felt the strong feeling of love in their hearts for each other and all just felt blissfully happy. Obsidian wrapped his arms around Moonie's waist and gently kissed his cheek. Moonie smiled brightly and turned to give Obsidian a kiss back. The three of them soon felt a feeling of immense warmth around them. Engulfed by it, someone new sat in the sand. He repeatedly blinked with his largest set of eyes while the other two sets were wide open. He out stretched his arms getting a feel for himself. He sat trying to figure out who he even was. Then it seemed to just come to him, he was Tanzanite. He stood up and starting walking back to the shack. He was huge and the steps he left in the sand reflected his stature. A small breeze went through making his cape flow with it. He smiled enjoying his cape and top hat. He felt quite handsome and walked with a bit of confidence in each step.
    Once he got to the shack he realized he wouldn't be able to fit. A window was left open and he peered in. He noticed his eyes glowed red in the darkness of the shack. Sunstone was inside and turned his head to see the larger gem looking in. He froze in his spot out of fear. Tanzanite saw him and smiled, showing off his fangs. Sunstone started shaking, hoping what he thought was a monster wouldn't attack him.
    "Sunny I'm Tanzanite" He said looking in. Sunstone didn't move.
    "Why aren't you coming over here" He asked tilting his head.
    "I've never seen you before" Sunstone choked out.
    "Well you're seeing me now" Tanzanite said. He moved so he stuck his hand through the window to shake hands. Sunstone walked up cautiously and put his hand to Tanzanite's. Tanzanite gently took it and shook his hand and let go.
    "Sunny step out so I can talk to you easier, I can barely fit my hand through this window" Tanzanite said annoyed. Sunstone afraid to anger this huge gem walked out of the shack to see Tanzanite in all his glory.
    Tanzanite stood tall and his eyes kept their harsh glow to them, the moonlight lit up his features but apart from that he seemed to be shrouded in this darkness. This illusion of being covered most likely came from his cape. Once Sunstone got a better look at Tanzanite his previous fear vanished. The gems of his friends were quite visible and relaxed him. Tanzanite's toothy grin though was still slightly unsettling, mainly because of his prominent fangs.
    Tanzanite held out his hand for Sunstone to step up onto. At first he was scared that the larger gem would crush him in his hand. Tanzanite just nodded at him to climb onto his hand and Sunstone decided he would. Tanzanite then pulled him close to his face so they could talk properly.
    "Again Sunstone it's nice to meet you, do you like my bowtie" He said showing it off.
    "It looks like you walked out of a cheesy halloween movie" Sunstone said slightly snarky.
    "I don't get why you're such an ass Sunny. I'm trying to be nice and here you are shitting on my outfit" Tanzanite said upset.
    "I'm telling you the truth" Sunstone said rolling his eyes. Tanzanite wasn't the mood for bad vibes so he set his hand back down on the ground and shook him off. Sunstone tripped and landed face first in the sand.
    "See that's what you get for being rude to me" Tanzanite said.
    Sunstone stood up and dusted himself off. Tanzanite was annoyed with him and laid himself down to sleep knowing he couldn't fit in the shack. Sunstone went back inside and went to his room and laying down in bed, hoping that Tanzanite wasn't going to turn out to be a pain for him.
