I Think Its Love

    Aquamarine had been at the bottom of the ocean for weeks now. Obsidian had gone down once to try and take him out but with no luck. White Moonstone sat by the shore waiting for him to come out. He was getting antsy and hoping that he was alright. Obsidian had told him of some of the things Aquamarine was put through on Homeworld. He understood that what happened to Aqua was the reason he went down deep in the ocean, to escape his troubles. He sat for hours and Obsidian walked over and put a hand on his shoulder.
    "I don't think he's coming up today Moonie" Obsidian said.
    "No it's still early he might" Moonstone said hopefully. Obsidian smiled and patted his shoulder and walked back into the shack. Moonie sighed and turned back to the ocean. Nothing was there and he was tempted to head in too.
    He decided he'd wait another hour and if he wasn't out he'd head back in. He sat staring intently off at the water hoping to see some sign that Aquamarine was going to come up. Thirty minutes passed and Moonie was laying on his stomach on the wet sand looking out. Very slowly he saw the top of Aqua's hair peek out from the water. Moonstone's eyes grew big with excitement. He sat watching , flicking his foot around with excitement. The water was soon shoulder height on Aquamarine and Moonie couldn't help himself but stand up and start running to him. Aquamarine ran to him too and tears were welling up in his eyes. He had spent so much time down there and just wanted desperately to be held by a friend. The water reached their legs and Moonie wrapped him into a big hug. He was so happy and Aquamarine squeezed back with so much love. They were getting enveloped in a soft warm light and everything seemed perfect. Aquamarine laid his head on top of Moonie's and soon what was left was a new fusion. She stood in the water and looked at her hands. She cupped her cheeks and as quickly as she fused she unfused.
    "Aqua I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to fuse with you. Are you okay, are you upset. Please don't say you're gonna go down there again" Moonie was hovering around Aqua with big, doey eyes making sure nothing was wrong with Aqua.
    "Moonie it's okay. I'm fine" He said softly.
    "Obby told me about Homeworld and..." Moonie started.
    "What happened to me on Homeworld, wasn't what I wanted. I was forced into it and it was all because that's what Homeworld wanted" Aquamarine stated. "Moonie, our fusion is something I wanted to do, and so did you. I loved being us Moonie, I felt safe with you."
    "I really didn't hurt you" Moonie asked.
    "No not at all, that was good" Aquamarine said with a smile. Moonie looked down flustered.
    "I liked it too" He said blushing.
    "Good, I'm glad you did too" Aqua said. "If you want Moonie, we can do that again tomorrow" Moonie nodded excitedly.
    The boys went inside and everyone cheerfully said hello to Aquamarine. Aqua and Moonie decided they'd wait till tomorrow to show off Blue Moon Quartz. Throughout the night the two of them would glance at each other with big silly grins excited about tomorrow. As everyone was going to bed, Moonie pulled his covers up and tried his very best to sleep. Aquamarine in his room was laying on his stomach happily thinking of how the fusion felt with Moonie, how Blue Moon Quartz felt nice and gentle.
    The night dragged on for the two and early in the morning White Moonstone quietly walked over to Aquamarine's room. He gently tapped on the door and almost immediately Aqua opened the door with a smile. He grabbed Moonie's hand and walked with him outside. The sun was just rising on the horizon and the sky was painted in pretty oranges and pinks. The two walked apart from each other and began their fusion dance. Aquamarine was quick and precise with his movements, Moonie on the other hand stomped around and clapped. Aqua knew he was having fun so it didn't particularly bother him. With a graceful leap he was close to Moonie and was going to pull Moonie into a spin but Moonie beat him to it. He grabbed Aqua's hands and spun him around like a child would and Aqua smiled. The two laughed happily and light surrounded them. Blue Moon Quartz appeared and laughed loudly to herself and hugged herself with a set of her arms. All the noise had woken up Obsidian. He opened the door and saw the large fusion giggling and spinning around. He felt a blush run across his cheeks. She was so pretty and Obsidian felt shy to go up to her. He closed the door and sat on the couch being nervous for her to walk in. Blue Moon Quartz stopped spinning and looked over at the shack. She skipped over and opened the door and saw Obsidian all blushy and everything on the couch.
"Hi Obby" She said happily.
"H-hi" He said nervously.
"I forgot we haven't met before have we" She asked. Obsidian shook his head and Blue Moon plopped down next to him. "I'm Blue Moon Quartz"
"It's very nice to meet you" He said looking down.
"It's good to see you too Obby" she said squeezing him into a hug "You're absolutely adorable" Obsidian blushed even harder.
"I guess I'm alright" he said.
"Quit being so modest, you're such a handsome gem" She complimented.
"Well you're quite pretty too" he said trying to not sound completely awestruck.
"You're too sweet Obby" She said and gently kissed the top of his head. He smiled a big dumb grin and hugged her back.
The two sat on the couch hugging and Obsidian couldn't think of a better thing to be doing. He was so extremely happy by this. Blue Moon soon pulled Obsidian into her lap and Obsidian could feel his heart just melting from being so close. Blue Moon Quartz giggled when she saw how happy Obsidian was.
"I'm so glad you like to cuddle" She said grinning.
"Of course I do, Moonie always insists on being close whenever we sleep together" he said.
"Well now you get to be with the two of the gems that love you the most" She said sweetly. "All wrapped up into me" Obsidian was blushing like crazy and he couldn't help himself.
"Too cute" she said and booped Obsidian's nose.
"Thank you" He said burying his face into her neck.
Obsidian was excited to be spending however long the time was with her. He didn't really care as long as he was close. She was so nice and sweet and Obsidian was falling in love with her. Blue Moon Quartz was the best thing in the world to him.
