 It was a hot August day and the lads were out on the beach making the most of it. Sunstone laid sprawled out basking in the hot rays, Aquamarine was out splashing in the water and Obsidian and White Moonstone were just sitting in the sand. Obsidian was watching Aquamarine playing at the shore and seemed to be generally relaxed. White Moonstone sat making drawings in the sand and then starting over by brushing sand on them with his hand. White Moonstone though began to get bored with this and turned to look at Obsidian. A big grin spread across his face as he had a plan to spice up the day. He crept behind Obsidian and jumped onto his back.

"Sneak attack Obsidian" White Moonstone yelled happily.

"What are you...?!" Obsidian began before White Moonstone hopped off and pushed him onto his side.

"Let's wrestle Obsidian" White Moonstone said now on top of Obsidian's stomach.

"Moonie you know I could crush ya' right?" Obsidian asked.

"Oh shush you know you won't," White Moonstone said.

Obsidian smiled and decided to play along. The two rolled around play fighting with each other on the sand. Sunstone looked over mildly annoyed by this as he was trying to enjoy the serene nature of the beach. Aquamarine seemed to not really care about what they were doing. Sunstone shifted onto his other side so he was facing away from the two wrestling gems. White Moonstone laughed heartily as the larger gem got on top of him. Obsidian smiled and pulled his friend into a big hug. Sunstone turned back to yell at the two to quiet down but instead, he saw Hematite standing tall on the beach.

"Oh no," Sunstone said under his breath.

"Hello everyone!" Hematite boomed. He had a big smile on his face and was ready to tackle the runt.

Hematite began walking towards Sunstone. He stood started walking slowly backwards. Hematite not in the mood for Sunstone's mood ran towards him and picked him up with one of his big, chubby arms.

"Hematite I swear if you don't put me down I'll beat the living shit out of you" Sunstone yelled.

"Sunstone you be quiet we're gonna go on an adventure" Hematite set the smaller gem onto his shoulder and held him there. "Aquamarine" He yelled.

"Hematite what kind of adventure is this going to be," Aquamarine said apprehensively.

"A fun one that's what," Hematite said as he walked over and scooped up the other gem onto his other shoulder. "Off we go lads!" He said holding onto the two gems while running to the warp pad.

Once on they warped to place with large floating rocks. The area was a lush green and soft grass blew gently in the wind. Hematite stepped off the warp pad. He smiled looking at where he was.

"You two better hold on," He said letting go of the two. Immediately he felt the two grip their hands onto his shoulders. He smirked and began running for the first floating rock.

He jumped and landed on it to only hop to the next one. The force of his jumps sent the rocks hurtling to the ground. Aquamarine started screaming.

"We're gonna fall!" he yelled.

"We won't fall, not yet at least," Hematite said confidently.

"NOT YET" Aquamarine yelled again. Hematite just laughed and continued jumping.

"Where are we even going!" Sunstone yelled.

"You'll see, you two just need to be patient," Hematite said. Sunstone and Aquamarine looked at each other with fear in their eyes. They turned to see a huge rock higher than the rest.

Hematite started getting more daring and once what he thought was close enough jumped from a rock as high up as he could go straight for the top of his goal. The two gems screamed again and death gripped Hematite's shoulders hoping that they wouldn't plummet to their poofs. Hematite skillfully landed on the rock and walked briskly to the other end of it.

"This is the fun part," He said.

"Hematite please don't tell me we're going off the edge," Aquamarine said.

"You're so smart Aqua," Hematite said with a smile and jumped off with all his strength towards the bottom of all the canyon. If the two gems weren't holding on for dear life before they were now.

Hematite hollered with excitement as they began to pick up speed as they fell. The ground started to come into view and the screaming got louder. Hematite though wasn't fazed at all as he braced for his landing. Once hitting the ground, dust got kicked up and a radius around Hematite the ground was cracked and pushed down to make a dip in the ground.

"It's all in the knees y'know," Hematite said standing up straight as the two gems on his shoulders were shaking and tightly holding onto him.

"I think I still have one more trick for you guys," Hematite said as he pulled two hammers from his chest and an axe from his crotch. In a flash of light, the weapons became a huge double headed axe. Aquamarine and Sunstone hopped off of him and ran out of the way. Hematite ran over to a huge boulder and smashed the head of the axe into it. A large crack went all the way down the huge stone and split in half. Hematite let out a loud, hearty chuckle and sat down on the ground. His axe faded to light and disappeared.

Aquamarine and Sunstone sat near him as he sprawled himself out. Hematite's stomach pudged out of his shirt and his strong arms laid across the split halves of the boulder. Once he was relaxed enough White Moonstone and Obsidian unfused.

"Well didn't we have fun today," Obsidian said smugly.

"Yeah sure" Aquamarine mumbled still very shook up after the day.

"We should do this again sometime" White Moonstone suggested.

"If we ever do this again it'll be too soon," Sunstone said angrily.
