You kissed Sharon?!

Natasha POV
(Time skip to 3 weeks later)

I'm suiting up and getting ready for the mission. Over the last month hydra has been making a lasting impression. They have destroyed multiple S.H.I.E.L.D facilities and have caused hundreds of civilians and agents to die. We've been doing everything we can but this time hydra seems to have some newly found power. I finish changing and walk into the main room right as Sharon walks in. Her and I have been on better terms but I still can't help but get a little defensive when I'm around her. Okay, a lot defensive. She notices me and walks up, giving me a genuine smile.
"Hi Natasha."
"Sharon." She noticed my cold stare and sighs.
"Listen I know we haven't exactly been best friends. And trust me, I can sense your death stare a million miles away whenever I get within a 50 mile radius of Steve. But honestly we were never a thing. We may have kissed but that's all. I swear. And it was a mistake. Besides seeing you two happy makes me happy, so... are we good?" Sharon says smiling.
"Kissed?!" I ask myself. "You didn't... I though he told.... I'm so sorry. You didn't know." Sharon says making me realize that I said my question aloud.
"Is it going to be an issue?" Shannon asks in the nicest way possible. She bites her lip while she waits for my response.

Even though I'm burning inside I flash her a smile and say "No. Not at all. Why would it be?" And then I walk away.

"Oh there you are Nat." Steve goes to hug me but I cut him off and put a hand on his chest. I shove him until we are in a private room.

"Is something wron-" He starts but I cut him off again. "You tell me?" I hiss at him and he looks at me cluelessly. "Oh that's right you won't tell me because apparently you don't tell me anything!" I yell and shove Steve hard. "What are you talking about?" He asks concerned. "You know exactly what." I snap and continue shoving him until he catches both of my wrists in his hands. "What the hell Nat?!" Steve's outburst shocks and I can tell he still has no idea what's going on. I know this is pointless but for some reason I'm still mad.

"No Steve. What the hell, huh? Well I have the same question!" I squirm to get my hands free but he tightens his grip. "What is going on Natasha? This is obviously going nowhere so why don't you just tell me?" Steve asks confused. Once again I try and fail to free myself. I give up and instead settle for giving him a cold glare. "You should know."

"That's the problem Nat, I don't!" Steve says innocently. "Why the hell did you kiss Sharon?!" I yell. Steve hands instantly go to his head as he sighs, which means he releases my wrists. Now free I start shoving him again until he is against the wall. "And why the hell didn't you tell me!?" I exclaim in Steve's face.

"Nat." Steve sighs. "No. You don't get to "nat" me." I say shaking my head. "Please Natasha. . I would have told you but I was ashamed and it was a mistake."

"You know Steve that's exactly what cheaters say."

"I would never cheat on you Natasha. Never."
