I take my first step. Of course I can't feel the carpet through my heels but I try to imagine the soft texture. I observe the scattered red rose petals. I start to become self cautious of the dress that sticks to my features, hopefully in an appealing way.

I find it hard to imagine that I look halfway decent in a gown that on first look, looks purely meant for royalty. I take a deep breath and force myself to look at the venue.

Pretty

Pretty. I think to myself. But then again, seeing as Tony took it upon himself to pay for everything, of course it would be nice. I don't dare look around at the familiar faces, in fear of getting looks of disapproval. But I still hear the hushed whispers.

Come on. You've made it this far, there's no sense in Turing back now. I assure myself as I force one foot in front of the other. I deeply inhale the scent from the bouquet I'm holding.

Only when I reach the gazebo, do I fully take him in. Uniform and all. It was suggested, and he accepted, that he wear his uniform, in order to honor his service.

And hey, I'm not complaining

And hey, I'm not complaining. When I step into the platform I feel his eyes trained on me as I instantly blush and look away. He grabs my hands and pulls me towards him. I notice a slight bulge along his bottoms.

"Rogers."
"Romanoff." I finally make eye contact with him.

"Is that a L9A1 Browning in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" I tease.

"Both." He responds with a smirk and then adds "just in case."

I nod my head and cautiously pull up one side of my dress until it reveals my own pistol that's tied to my thigh. Once he sees, I quickly drop my gown.

"You look incredible." He examines me agin and I playfully swat his chest. "Stop it." I say childishly.

"I'm serious Natasha."

The priest goes through his spiel, we slip on each others rings and exchange our written vows.

But to be honest I don't pay attention to any of it. It's all a blur as I get lost in the all too familiar ocean eyes. I continue to let the ceremony whiz past me until a pair of words drags me back to the real world.

"I do."
I notice the sweet tears in his eyes. And I feel my own tears fall. I also feel no words coming out of my mouth and fear that none will. Until my lips start moving before I catch up with my words.

"I do."
The words fall easily and for once I feel the rush of pure sureness.

Once again I find myself getting lost until I feel the familiar soft lips crash into mine. My hands instantly tangle in his hair and without meaning to, we both deepen the kiss. Only pulling away when we can't breath.

I come back to my senses as I register the sound of applause. I can't help but let a smile of joy creep across my face. Steve grabs my hand and starts leading me down the steps.

"You okay?" He asks when we are halfway down.

"No..." I hesitate as I see the look of worriedly terror on his face.

"I'm perfect."

***** So I didn't know if I was going to do the wedding, so this is more of a bonus chapter. I hope you enjoyed!****
