Some people are meant to FALL in love with each other but aren't meant to BE with each other....
"I'm coming... I need you to stay on the coms... I need you to.. just.. just stay alive."
I hear nat beg of me.
I glance down at the broken controls a...
Steve and Natasha (POV) ***I included another video. It's a longer one but very very well made. It actually made me cry.**
Steve: Everything is still dark. Except now I hear something. At first it just sounds like ringing. Then words. Some one is speaking. Now they are yelling. I can't make out the words. I feel hands on me. Lifting me up a little. Shaking me. And then I recognize the voice. Then the words start to make sense. Once I realize who it is I snap my eyes open.
Natasha: Tonight I am awoken again. Except this time it's the sound of screams that shakes me from my sleep. When I recognize who's they are I snap my eyes open. I lean up and look down at Steve. He is shaking. Tossing and turning. Throwing himself around. Whimpering some. Then screaming. Random sounds but mostly the word "no." or "please." And then he says something which concludes my questions about his dream "We won. We were supposed to win."
This makes me think he is dreaming about her. About Peggy. After taking in his state for a few seconds, I decide it's best to wake him. "Steve." I say quite at first. A tear rolls down his face as he continues to whimper. "Steve." I try louder this time. He doesn't respond, just contributed to throw his body around harder and harder. I have to duck and move away in a matter of second a few times to avoid being hit. "Steve. Come on. Wake up Steve" I plead as I pin his arms down with my elbows and shake him. "Steve!" I yell when he continues to scream.
Suddenly his eyes snap open. He eyes show terror and pain. "Natasha." He says it so quietly I barley hear him. "How?" He looks at me as if I'm not really there. "Steve it's okay it's me. I promise. It's okay." I assure as I hesitantly put a hand on his cheek. He leans forward to kiss me I think. But instead of kissing me he lifts up my shirt. Startled I pull back at first but then I allow him to continue looking at my stomach as if he expecting something to be there.
"How are you here?!" He begs me to explain. I look at him curiously until he goes on "You are... you were" He can't finish. Another tear falls. "Steve in here I really am." I explain, going along with him. "It's me. Natasha." I pull him a bit closer. He places a hand on my face then he does the same with the other one. He memorizes me with tears in his eyes. He then presses his forehead to mine and pulls me too him. He holds me so tight. Too tight. I can barley breath but I don't have the heart to pull away I don't dare move besides to re adjust my grip on him. His holds me as I will surely fall if he dares let go. As if I've already left him. As if he hasn't seen me in years. I guess we eventually we fall asleep because I wake up under the covers. I turn to see Steve looking at me. And that's when he asks me.
Steve: I got the idea last night. When my wish was granted and I was given Natasha back. I know why she looked so confused. She thought my dream was about Peggy. Which is part of the reason I ask her. I want her to know that I'm not in love with a ghost. Not that I won't always love Peg but I want Natasha to know I love her and she has all my attention now.
Natasha: "Can I take you dancing?" He asks me. I'm taken aback by how much that question means. I remember Fury told me when Steve came out of the ice that he said he had a date. Fury has asked me if I could find out what it meant and when I asked him about it he told me about her. About how they arranged a date right before she thought he died. That they were meant to go dancing. Sensing my reaction he adds " We don't necessarily have to dance. I.. I don't even know how. We could just watch. Or... or just forget it it was a stupid question. He stumbles, looking away, his cheeks burning a bright pink.
"No it wasn't I say. It's romantic. And Steve Rogers doesn't know how to dance?" I query, not believing it. "And Natasha Romanoff does?" He says joking at me. "Of course and now we have to go." I emphasized as I pulled him off the couch. "You need to go." He looks at me surprised. "Go where?"
"Go get ready. Oh and pick me up at 6 o'clock on the dot." I order with a grin as I shove him out the door. He doesn't have time to respond but I see him blush. Later in the evening I pick out a red lacy dress that goes down to my knees.

I curl my hair. The way Steve once said he likes it. I throw on a pair of black heels and put on my make up. Steve arrived at exactly the time a told him. Not a minute early or late. When I open the door he stands holding a bouquet of red roses. "They reminded me of you." He says commenting on the flowers. "Thank you." I take the flowers inside. "You look incredible." Steve smiles, admiring my attire. I do the same to him. He is wearing a classy, deep navy suit. That looked like it was made for him.

I smiled realizing that are colors stood out well together. We make small talk on the way to some old fashioned dance club Steve knew about. When we arrive it is already full of other couples. Most of them dancing others chatting along the sides. "May I have this dance?" I turn to see Steve holding his hand out. "I'll teach you this dance." I reply as I slip my hand into his and lead him out onto the floor. "So I always say if you can count you can dance." I put my hand on his shoulder and grab his other hand. He instantly wraps his fingers around my hand .

"Well if that's true we're in luck." He says as he wraps a hand around my waist. "So a simple waltz is three steps. Just follow my feet." I say as I too look at my feet. It's been a while since I danced. He steps on my toes a few times mumbling "sorry" but other then that he grasps the waltz very easily. Once he has it down he looks back up at me. I smile approvingly. He pulls me closer as I lay my head on his chest. I notice a man a few feet a way making eyes at me. I feel Steve's grip tighten and then I catch him giving the man a stern look. Claiming me with his eyes. I didn't know Steve could be so protective. I smiled and then shot the man a dirty look of my own. He quickly walked away. We dance for probably hours. But the time with him is too amazing to worry about things like time. This is where I'm meant to be I think to myself. "Thank you for this Steve." I hold him a bit tighter. "Anything for you Nat." And with that we are back to silently dancing away the night.
*** so I take back what I said about this chapter being short. I would have updated earlier but I wanted to put in a lot of deatail and after having sad stuff I wanted some fluffiness. I hope you enjoyed !"
