1.40 Deal With The Devil

Night.

I was in the woods because Caroline called me saying that she needed my help with Tyler.

I yelled "Caroline!"

Suddenly I heard a scream and then something running at me. I fell to the ground. A wolf was on me. I tried to push it off me. It was stronger than me. I tried to kick it off, it helped. I screamed when its fangs bit in my hip.

Suddenly it took off.

I held my hip and cracked out "Damn it!"

I'm dead. I'm screwed.

Suddenly I heard behind me "are you okay?"

I turned around "Whe-?"

My eyes widened "Nik?"

I slowly stood up. 

Nik was leaning against a tree smirking with his arms crossed.

I took a step back. 

Nik smiled "You don't have to be afraid, love, i won't kill you"

i added "Yet"

He chuckled. 

Me "what do you want?"

Nik "you know what i want, love"

I shook my head "i don't have it, Nik"

Nik "You're lying"

I shook my head "I'm not "

Nik "i can smell the blood, love. the wolf bit you."

I didn't say anything. 

Nik "We both know what heals a werewolf bite"

I crossed my arms over my chest and scoffed "over my dead body"

Nik "I'll give you 24-hours till you're dead, for good"

I bit my lip and looked down.

Nik "The only way i can get you the cure is if you..."

Me "..if i give you the moon stone"

Nik nodded "see? you don't really have a choice"

I took a deep breath "What else do you want?"

Nik "Come to Alaric's place after this is over"

I asked confused "Why?"

Nik "to pick up the cure"

I rolled my eyes.

Nik "Give me the moon stone and i'll give you the cure"

I shook my head "no"

Nik took a step forward "you won't have a choice, love"

I took a step forward and looked him in the eye "lay one hand on me and Elijah will ruin you"

Nik's lips twitched and i turned around and started to leave. 

Suddenly he said "Your friend Damon got also bitten by a wolf."

I froze and turned to him " you're lying"

Nik shook his head "not at all. He doesn't have to die, love, all you have to do is give me the moon stone"

I looked down.

Nik chuckled "It's a win win. I become a hybrid, you get the cure to save yourself and your friend and you will be a step closer to Stefan Salvatore."

Me "three wins for me and one win for you. Normally it should be the other way around"

Nik chuckled  "don't worry about that, love"

I raised an eyebrow "You'll give Damon the cure?"

Nik nodded "You can pick it up yourself"

I sighed and took the moon stone from my back pocket and threw it to him. 

He caught it and smirked "thank you, love"

Then everything went black.
