1.69 Dinner With The Devils

Later.

I took a deep breath " So, why don't we move this evening along and discuss the terms of this proposal?"

Damon "That's very simple. Klaus gets his coffin back, in exchange, he and the Original extended family leave Mystic Falls forever. Me, Adi, Stefan and Elena live happily ever after. No grudges."

Elijah looked at Nik"The deal sounds fair, brother."

Nik " I don't think you understand. Elena's doppelgänger blood insures that I will always have more hybrids to fight those that oppose me. I will never leave her behind."

He got up and started to pace around " Let's say I do leave her here, under your protection, what then? How long before one of you turns her into a vampire? Gentlemen, the worst thing for Elena Gilbert is...the two of you."

Damon gave a weak smile, then looked at Stefan "I'm gonna get some air."

Then he walked out of the room.

Elijah " Let me deal with this."

He shot me a quick glance and then followed Damon. 

Nik "All this talk has made me thirsty."

He looked at one of the servants and she walked over to him "What do you say Stefan? Can I interest you in a little after-dinner drink?"

Then he bit her neck and drank her blood.

I sighed.

Nik finished feeding on the blonde servant girl and dropped her dead body to the floor.

He smirked "Delicious. Aged to perfection."

I rolled my eyes. 

Stefan " Well, I guess the only reason you agreed to this evening, Klaus, is to drive a wedge between me and my brother."

Nik " Oh no, you're doing that well enough on your own. Because of Elena and Adelaide, you're gonna loose your brother and you'll only have yourself to blame."

He smiled smiled at me.

Damon and Elijah walked back inside.

Damon " What do you say, Klaus? It's time for you to put something on the table. We've made our offer, now you counter."

Nik nodded  "Okay. I offer Elena's future happiness. You see, what she needs right now is to be rid of you lot. And to fall in love with a human, maybe that nice football player, you know the blonde one?"

Damon asked irritated " Matt Donovan? Really?"

Nik nodded" Yeah, why not? They'll marry, live a long and fruitful life, and pop out a perfect family."

Stefan "And continue the Petrova bloodline. Every few hundred years, you'll have two new doppelgängers to drain and never run out of hybrids, right Klaus?"

Nik "Consider it a small return on my investment in her well-being. See, after you hand me back the coffin, I'll ensure her safety for the rest of her natural life. You know, it's what's best for her."

He got up and walked towards Stefan " So, what do you say Stefan, hmm? Do we have a deal?"

Stefan started walking over to Klaus.

Damon raised an eyebrow" What are you doing?"

I raised an eyebrow. 

Nik held his hand out to Stefan. 

Stefan grabbed his hand "Nice try, Klaus. But no deal."

Nik broke Stefan's arm. He kicked his leg and broke it as well. He pushed Stefan's hand into the fireplace, and it started to burn. Damon attempted to rush over to him, but Elijah intercepted him and pushed him against a wall.

Damon asked confused  " What are you doing?"

I stood up "Nik, enough!"

Stefan "Stop!"

Nik " Now, bring me my coffin before I burn him alive, love"

I nodded " Fine, you won! I'll get it. Just don't roast anyone while i'm gone"

Nik "go ahead"

Me "first you let go of him"

Nik tried to stare me down but i did not budge at all. 

Then he smirked and let go of Stefan who gasped in pain. 

I fake smiled "thanks"

Then i walked into the room where he kept his coffins. 

I opened the first one and smiled.

Then I pulled the dagger out "Raise and Shine, Kol"

I patted his cheek and moved over to Bekah's coffin and opened it "Nik is going to get his ass kicked"

Then i opened Finn's and pulled his dagger out.

Suddenly i heard footsteps behind me turned around. I hid the daggers behind my back. 

Elijah smiled and held his hand out "Adelaide"

I nodded and handed him two daggers. I put the third one back in Rebekah's coffin because i knew how much she would love to stab Nik. 

We walked back into the room but this time with a female servant who was carrying a tray with the covered daggers.

Nik asked surprised " Elijah...why haven't you left?"

Elijah "Where are you manners, brother? We forgot dessert."

He took the cover off the tray. Two silver daggers laid on it.

Nik asked shocked " What have you done?"

Elijah "What have you done? You see, I've learned not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus. We're doing this on my terms now."

Kol walked inside and i smirked. 

Nik's eyes widened shocked " Kol."

Kol smirked " Long time, brother."

Nik started to walk backwards. 

Finn showed up, grabbed a dagger and stabbed Nik through the hand.

Nik gasped out  "Finn, don't!"

He rushed away, but ran into Bekah.

Nik "Rebekah!"

She stabbed him with a dagger. He gasped. 

Bekah " This is for our mother."

She pulled the dagger out and Nik fell back into Kol's arms. Kol restrained him. 

Elijah looked at us " You're free to go. This is family business."

We walked out but i stopped outside. They turned to me.

Damon asked confused  "why are you stopping?"

I turned around to the house.

Damon shook his head "no. no. no. Don't even think about it. "

I sighed "Damon"

Damon "That place just turned into a war zone, Adelaide "

Me "Damon, i-"

Damon "i'm going to throw you over my shoulder and carry your ass home if you don't move"

Me "I-I-"

My phone rang. I took it out.

I looked at it.

My jaw dropped "oh my god"

Stefan"who is it?"

Me "It's Caroline. her-Her dad..he's not full ending the transition"
