1.116 A Few Days Later

A few days later. Morning. 

I felt someone driving their hand through my hair. 

I smiled and cuddled into the body. 

Stefan kissed my hair and whispered "morning"

I smiled "morning, handsome"

Then I opened my eyes and looked at him.

Stefan tried to get up but i pulled him back and laid on top of him. 

He chuckled "Angel?"

I put my head in the crook of his neck and whined "don't go"

He chuckled "i have to. Damon's go-"

Me "Screw Damon"

Suddenly we heard "i heard that, princess"

I groaned annoyed and got off Stefan. I sat down next to him and looked at Damon.

Stefan put a hand on my back and looked at Damon.

Damon "can we have a word?"

I looked at Stefan and sighed. 

Stefan "What do you want, Damon?"

Damon leaned against the door frame and pouted fake offended  "aren't you going to defend me? your girlfriend hurt my feelings"

He whipped away a fake tear. 

I looked at Stefan who was already looking at me. 

Then we looked back at Damon.

Stefan took a deep breath and sat up "What do you want?"

Damon "i heard about your little plan.  You're gonna take her back to school?"

Stefan nodded "Well, the fun route didn't exactly pay off, did it?"

Damon shrugged "I don't know. Got a free meal out of it."

Stefan "Look, do you think I want to go to school and play chaperone ? i would rather stay here with my girlfriend. You can't go because you're not a student. Besides, you've got to go look for Katherine. I mean, Elena needs this cure now more than ever."

I rolled my eyes. 

In Damon's room. 

Stefan, Damon and i walked into Damon's bedroom.

 Elena was still showering. 

Suddenly Caroline walked in in a bathrobe. 

Caroline "Not that anyone asked me, but I think taking her back to school is a great idea."

Stefan asked confused "Why are you here?"

Caroline " Uh, blame it on your fancy water filters. Your house has the only vervain-free showers in town."

Damon nodded " Oh, yeah. The mayor put vervain in the water supply. So many people to kill."

Caroline nodded " Yeah, my mom says it's about to get worse, so she could use a little help."

Damon looked at me"Fine, I'll go after the psychotic doppelgänger. Adi, you wanna go talk to the Sheriff?"

I fake whined "but i really wanted to look for my sister"

Damon raised an eyebrow "Really?"

I scoffed "hell no"

Damon looked at Caroline "Blondie, take her to school."

Caroline smiled "Sounds like fun."
