 We walked to a cabin and heard Damon groan.

I yelled "Damon"

Then I ran inside. 

We heard a guy land underneath the well.

 Damon was bound to a wall by his neck. There was a cord around it. 

Stefan tried to get the rope off of Damon's neck while Damon groaned in pain, but the vervain burned Stefan's fingers as well, making it difficult.

Damon groaned out  "You're wasting time. Just get the cure. Go."

Stefan shook his head "We're not gonna leave you."

I shoved Stefan to the side and grabbed the rope. 

I hissed in pain. 

Stefan "Adelaide ?"

I looked at Elena "You need to go ahead. We'll be right behind you. Go."

Elena looked at us for a moment before she jumped down into the shaft.

I ripped the rope off Damon's neck and he fell on his knees. 

He held his throat, coughing. 

Stefan nodded " All right, come on. We have to catch up."

Damon breathed out "No, it's okay. I just need a minute. I'm only gonna slow you down. Go. She only needs one of us."

Stefan asked irritated  "And what? You don't care to be that one anymore? You finally decided it was easier to just walk away?"

Damon "There's only one dose of the cure, Stefan. She wants to take it. Just do what makes her happy."

Stefan "Things have changed. It's not that easy anymore."

Damon nodded "It is right now. Get your ass down the well. Help Elena get the damn thing. Come on."

I sighed "screw this"

Then I jumped down the well and landed on a stoned ground. 

I started to run looking for Elena, Jeremy and Bonnie. 

Suddenly i heard a rock fall in the distance. 

I looked around " Stefan?"

My voice echoed. 

Me "Hello?"

Suddenly i heard my name "Adelaide?"

I turned around and growled "No!"

Then everything went black.

I felt someone shaking me. I speeded up and pressed that person against the wall. 

Stefan "Adelaide ! It's me!"

My eyes widened and i looked around.

Stefan "what happened?"

I ignored him.

He grabbed my arms "what happened?"

Me "She's here"

Stefan asked confused "who?"

i looked at him. Then i grabbed his hand and speeded with him into the cave. I saw Elena on the ground holding Jeremy's body in her arms. He was dead. She was crying. 

Elena sobbed out  "! Oh, no. No. No. Oh, god, no. Oh god..."

Then she saw the Gilbert ring on his finger. 

Elena sobbed out relieved " It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. You're gonna be okay. The ring will bring you back. It's okay. It's okay. You're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay, Jeremy. You're gonna be fine."

I looked at Stefan who looked as shocked as i am. 

Upstairs. 

Damon "How'd this happen?"

Me " It was Katherine. She was following us this whole fucking time"

Damon " What about the cure or Silas?"

Stefan "If there was anything in there at all, it's all gone."

Damon " Where the hell is Bonnie?"

Stefan shrugged "I have no idea. She went looking for Jeremy last night. She never came back. Damon, Elena is in there waiting for the Gilbert ring to bring Jeremy back to life."

Damon nodded "Okay, fine. I'll wait with her."

He started to walk towards the well but i grabbed his arm to stop him. 

He looked at me "Damon, Jeremy was one of the Five, a hunter."

Damon's face fell " He's supernatural. The ring won't work anymore. She won't survive this. I'll find Bonnie. You get Elena off this island."

Stefan nodded. 

Me "And i'm going rip Katarina's head off"

Then i walked out.
