Lucy laughed to herself at seeing the two dragon slayers run full speed to the station as if their life depended on it. Luckily for them, they made it on time and caught the last train back to Clover. She was hovering above them under her red paper umbrella with her legs crossed, her face resting in her hand as she laughed amusingly at the two.

"As one would expect from dragon slayers," she remarked. "Motion sickness can't be cured."

"Myuu~!" Kyubey smiled, a mocking look in his eyes.

"Oh? Do you not like them?" Lucy looked towards her pet.

Kyubey shook its head and nuzzled its head against her face as if to say that the only person it'll ever like is Lucy. Lucy let out a soft chuckle reached up to it. Kyubey walked onto her hand and made its way down to her arm, letting itself rest in Lucy's embrace.

"Today has worn us out, huh?" Lucy petted it and saw the sun setting along the horizon. "We should be moving forward, too."

Lucy looked towards Clover Town with a smile painted on her face. Her white cape flowed behind her as she made way to the town before the sun could set. Kyubey lay nuzzled in her soft and warm arms, drifting off to sleep with a contented look on its face. The cool fall night breeze was gentle on them and the sun provided shade from the setting sun. As they arrived at the town a few minutes later - since they traveled by air - the sun had long set and the street lights were beginning to flicker on.

"Now then," Lucy said, the umbrella still opened laying on her shoulder. "Let's go pay a little visit to a dear friend."

Meanwhile~

Sting, Rogue, Lector, and Frosch were catching the last train back to Clover Town and they saw the sun setting behind the horizon, making way for the moon to rise. Rogue leaned his head against the window as Frosch laid sleeping on his lap. Sting did the same while Lector was passed out on the seat, dreaming. Their motion sickness was slightly better but it was still bad enough to make them churn.

"So," Rogue said, starting a conversation to get his mind off of his bowels. "What did you think of her?"

"Think of who?" Sting looked up with a pale face.

"Lucy-san that is," Rogue replied. "Who else would I be talking about."

"Ahhh, you mean her," Sting looked out the window. "She's just a mage that happened to be at the right place at the right time. No more no less."

Rogue eyed him with a dismayed look.

"Fine. She did save our butts from being kicked," Sting sighed and leaned against the seat. "But, she seems...different. I bet something happened in the three years she left Fairy Tail."

Rogue nodded his head in agreement. "It's hard to imagine why she would leave Fairy Tail, too."

"That's a question that's easy to answer," Sting laughed as a look of absolute seriousness crossed his eyes. "Didn't you see their reaction when it was noticed that Lucy had disappeared without a trace? They thought nothing of it and I'm sure that that had been going on for quite a while."

Rogue glanced down to the floor, not wanting to believe it.

"But, what goes on in her life has no concern to us," Sting said. "Besides, we're not even close to her or anything."

"Still," Rogue said. "I want to repay her."

Sting glanced at his partner from the corner of his eye. "Rogue," he said. "I've noticed this since the Grand Magic Games since three years ago but...you're oddly attached to that celestial mage aren't you?"
