"M-Master Jiemma," they all whimpered.
Then, I shall explain, a deep voice resonated throughout the building.
They all looked to the source of the voice and saw that it was the little pet that always stayed by Lucy's side: Kyubey. It was floating in the air with golden wings sprouted on its back and it was radiating a golden light.
Your little band of guild members decided to attack my master while she slept. Especially that little blonde mage over there.
"Is that true?" Jiemma questioned the guild.
"T-That's..." Orga said, looking over to Sting and trying to defend him.
Jiemma gritted his teeth and erupted in anger. "Under my permission, I allowed for her to sleep there! Moreover, Sting Eucliffe, you would dare to attack a girl while she sleeps?!"
"I was just trying to wake her up," Sting murmured.
"And so you use Holy Ray to wake her up," Minerva said in disgust.
"Well, she is sitting on Master's throne and so we thought that getting rid of her would be the best," Rufus said, defending Sting.
The others nodded their head in agreement, fully aware of how Jiemma didn't like people sitting on his throne, not even Minerva herself. The last time someone did sit on his throne by accident, they were pulverized to nothing. Jiemma felt like he wanted to say something but instead, sighed.
"This time, I wasn't clear," he looked to Kyubey. "Forgive them for this once."
Kyubey stared at them and spoke, its mouth unmoving. I'll overlook it this once. If another incident like this occurs, you know what will happen.
Sweat-drops appeared on all their faces as Kyubey withdrew its wings and the golden light faded away. It dropped lightly down onto Lucy's lap and acted as if nothing had happened. Even after all of that, Lucy still remained asleep due to the fact that Kyubey had put a sleeping spell on her. It removed it and nuzzled itself against Lucy. Jiemma walked up to her and shook her gently.
"Mnnn," she mumbled as her eyes slowly opened. "Jiemma...?"
"It's already morning," Jiemma said to her. "Everyone in the guild is here already."
Lucy rubbed her eyes and stretched on the throne, the white fur cape falling down onto her lap. Kyubey snuggled into her face and Lucy smiled, petting it. She looked at the entrance and saw the tens of pairs of eyes staring at her. She stared at them blankly, still half-asleep. She stood up and snapped her fingers, changing the outfit she was wearing. In place of the black and white western-style dress was a white frilled dress that reached up to her knee with golden ribbons lining the frilled parts.
"Morning," she waved her hand.
Minerva stared on in utter shock and surprise at the person as tears started filling her eyes. Since the Grand Magic Games, she would often watch her from the sideline, hoping that there were no injuries on her but ever since her sudden disappearance three years ago, she was left in utter despair. Now, Lucy was back, standing right before her.
"M-Morning my ass!" Minerva shouted and threw a hug at her. "Where the hell have you been, Lucy Heartfilia?!"
At that sudden action, Lucy was awake and she looked at Minerva. "M-Minerva?"
"Suddenly disappearing like that and forcing me to do that at the Grand Magic Games, are you out of your mind?!" she snapped at her.
"Minerva, you're too loud," Lucy said, her ears ringing.
