"Citizens of Fiore!" Toma announced on the balcony of Mercurius. "The day that you've all been waiting for has finally come!"

All of Fiore had gathered in front of Mercurius to hear His Majesty's declaration. It was finally the beginning of the anticipated week, the Fall Festival. The flags of Fiore waved proudly in the air as streamers, confetti, and balloons filled the sky. Choruses of cheer and laughter could be heard through the crowds as they all yelled their undeniable enthusiasm. The audience quieted down, allowing Toma to continue speaking.

"The Fall Festival is one of the biggest holidays that we celebrate in Fiore. It's a time where we celebrate the outcomes of our harvests and be grateful for what we've been provided for. Moreover, it's a time where we all make unforgettable memories and honor the bonds that we share with one another. As your King, I'm honored to be leading such wonderful subjects."

The citizens all cheered and smiled at one another, glad to see their King paying his respects toward them like he did every year.

"This year, I'm proud to announce the beginning of yet another exciting week as well as the start of what we've all been waiting for," his voice booming as he looked at the mass of people under him. "The Parade of the Guilds!"

"Yeah!!!"

The audience cheered as they all began talking amongst one another, wondering which guild would win this year's award.

"It's time for the six chosen guilds of Fiore to show their efforts to us and I'm sure everyone here is as equally excited as I."

They all nodded their heads in agreement.

"Now then, enough talking and let the Fall Festival commence!" he laughed jovially.

As if everything wasn't enough, more balloons and confetti were let out as they wafted through the air, lighting up the atmosphere of the crowd. Toma and Hisui waved to the audience with large smiled on their faces, knowing that this event was one of the largest events each and every year. All of Fiore was in a festive mood and even those that were enemies seem to forget their relationship with one another for a week, deciding to live in the joy of it all.

"Quite the crowd we have this year."

Lucy watched the mass of people before her with a smile as she hovered in the air above them, her red paper umbrella opened above her. Kyubey flew about, its wings sprouted as it went to check out the floating balloons with curiosity; it was its first time seeing anything of that sort. Seeing Kyubey so excited at seeing the balloons, Lucy chuckled softly to herself.

"Now then, since the parades only start at nighttime, I still have some time to kill," Lucy turned to the direction of Magnolia Town. "Should I spy on them for a bit?"

Before she could make her way to Magnolia Town, she heard voices in the distance calling for her. She looked towards the direction where she had come from and gulped, her eyes narrowing and her lips pulling into a tight line. After finally finishing up the preparations just in time, she had gotten time for herself for the first time and she didn't feel like dealing with them. But she knew that if she didn't deal with them, it would only grow more complicated.

"Kyubey, shall we go?" Lucy smiled helplessly.

"Myuu?" Kyubey tilted its head, its mouth holding the strings of tens of balloons.

Lucy stared on in surprise as she chuckled nervously. "You must really like those balloons, Kyubey."

"Myuu!" it nodded its head enthusiastically.

"Then I'm sure you'll like the parades," Lucy came over to it as it flew into her arms, letting Lucy hold the balloons. "The balloons in the parades are fifty times as big and they're in the shapes and characters of different things. Once the parades are over, I'll make sure to get one for you. How about it?"
