Flashback:
It was a cold December night, and everyone else from school is joyously celebrating their annual Winter Formal, while two girls were warmly cuddling after deciding to skip the event and do some other mundane stuff instead.
Watching a romantic comedy, the raven-haired girl couldn't help but notice how her friend kept rolling her pretty brown eyes everytime an actor says something cheesy. She thought that maybe her friend was just being bitter after going through a breakup; but when one actor said the word forever, she noticed that her friend's eye rolls became more evident and prominent. "Your eyes couldn't roll any further you know." She remarked, chuckling.
To prove that she could do whatever the fuck she wants, the blonde displayed to her adorable friend one of her most intense eye rolls before smirking proudly.
"Okay weirdo, do you seriously not believe in forever?" The raven-haired girl asked cutely with a small pout. It was to convince her friend or make her at least consider it.
Having strong convictions and pessimist views however, the blonde just raised her hands in vex and answered, "Ew, I'll never believe in such thing!" Seeing her friend pout deepen, she remarked in disbelief, "please don't fucking tell me you do."
"Of course I do you darn idiot!" The other girl crossed her arms is defiance while the blonde just laughed at how adorable her friend is being; she couldn't even cuss properly and that made her all the more adorable.
Furthering her aggravation, the raven-haired girl slapped her friend's arm but to no avail, the blonde just laughed harder as she clutched at her stomach. "Okay now you're exaggerating! Stop laughing like a maniac!" She ordered. She can't believe that her best friend is laughing so intensely as if she just uttered something that warrants such ridicule.
"Now you're being ridiculous, how can you tell me you don't believe in forever when there's the two of us?" She stated with annoyance, making the other girl abruptly cease her laughter. "I believe we'll always be together forever you know?!"
Hearing her friend make such declarations, the blonde's heart swelled with burning ardor and started to beat in an irregular rythm. She felt euphoric and high, but when she noticed her friend's sour mood, she instantly felt guilty and sorry for acting like a total jerk. "Are you mad?" She asked the obvious.
"Maybe", the other girl answered with apathy.
Thinking of a way to make her friend unable to resist her, she paused the stupid movie that they were watching and opened her music player to play their favorite musical duet of all time. She stood up from the bed and went in front, where her friend could not ignore her any further. "Every single day, I walk down the street. I hear people calling me baby, so sweet." She began singing, making a ghost of a smile start to tug at the other girl's lips.
"So be mine and don't lose your mind, just remember that I'm your baby..." She got closer to her moody friend and tried pinching her bunny cheeks, but the girl just slapped her hands away. That didn't deter her though as she sat beside her on the matress and began dancing around. "Take me for what I am, who I was meant to be." She belted out, making a bashful smile finally appear on the other girl's alluring face. "And if you give a damn, take me baby or leave me." She finished the chorus, standing up and acting sassily as she continued singing the next verse until she reached the end of her part, "cause every night, who's in your bed! Who... Who's in your bead. Kiss pookie." She pouted, waiting for her adorable friend to sing her part.
"I look before I leap. I love margins and discipline", the raven-haired girl sang, making the two of them both grin from ear to ear. They had made up just like that. "I make lists in my sleep baby."
