Ch.31

"So what are you doing man?" shawn said still standing in the doorway.

"Well actually we came to see your dad.." he said and shawn looked confused.

"Ok..... dad! come here!" he yelled behind him and hen I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

This is it....

He came to the door and smiled.

"Hey there." he said politely.

He didn't recognize me. I know I'm older, but I'm still his child.

I kinda looked down at the ground.

"Ashlynn.....?" he asked and I looked up.

I nodded my head and a big grin spread across his face.

"My baby girl.." he had tears in his eyes and he pulled me into a big hug.

"Come in, come in" he said walking into the house.

He sat down on the couch and shawn just looked confused...

"Oh... Uh shawn..." My dad said and cleared his throat.

"This is ashlynn... my daughter.." he said looking over at me.

Shawn looked at me then smiled.

He walked over and gave me a hug.

He was really nice and friendly hahha.

I sat back down on the couch and my dad smiled.

"This is my son, shawn. your half brother." he said and my smile grew.

Then it faded when these words came out of his mouth:

"So, how's your mother doing?"

I looked down at my hands and Nash walked over to me.

"She uh... she died.." I stared at the floor and my dad was silent.

"....How?" he choked out.

Nash joined in and explained.

Nash an shawn left us alone for a little to talk.

"So where do you live...?" he asked.

"With Nash and his parents."

"Oh.. How are you-"

I cut him off

"-Why did you leave." I blurted out.

He looked up at me and I saw him gulp a little.

"Well- I uh-"

he tried I explain while I just sat there like a lump on a log.

"We just couldn't be together anymore. we didn't agree, me and your mom."

he said tapping his foot.

"Why did you leave me, without child support. or anything." I said bluntly.

"I don't know.. I was young and stupid."

".. Mom told me you were dead..." tears brimmed my eyes.

He moved closer to me.

"I know... but i re-married to Diana... And she already had shawn." he said.

"I'm so glad I found you.." He said and I scowled.

"No.. I found you." I said raising my voice.

Nash came down the stairs.

"You didn't even CARE to look for me!"
I said standing up.

"You jut left and didn't say anything!" Nash walked over to us.

"We are leaving." I said pulling Nash out the door.

He drove away and I was silently crying.

We arrived at our house. I jumped out of the car and slammed the door.

I didn't want to talk to Nash, Cameron, Matt, or hayes.

So I ran over to the person that I wanted to talk to the most.

I went straight to jack's.

I knocked on the door and he opened it.

I was still bawling and I just pulled him into a tight hug.

He was wearing a t-shirt, sweat pants, and he had his glasses on and slightly ruffled hair.

We walked inside, while still hugging.

He shut the door.

He guided me upstairs without a word.

He shut the door of his bedroom behind me.

"What's wrong ash?" he said pulling my Into a tight hug.

He smelt really good with axe cologne.

"My dad's not dead... and I went to find him and I started yelling and now I'm here....." I blurted out really fast.

"What?" he said tilting his head a little.

I slowly explained and he put one arm around me and I leaned my head against his shoulder.

I cooled off, and we were both in silence.

"About what you said..." I said afraid to tell him.

"About what?" he asked turning towards me adjusting his glasses.

Man he was attractive. goodness.

"Liking you or Nash..." I said and he looked down.

"Oh.." he answered and ran his fingers through his blonde hair.

" I choose..."
