Ch.39

I was in my room getting ready for just a fun day at the beach and maybe some water skiing.

I had on a lilac bikini with frill on the top.

I went out to the top of the boat, and Nash was sitting on the blue matts with two plates of eggs and bacon.

"Hey babe morning." he said smiling as I sat down next to him.

I kissed him on the cheek and looked over at the sunrise peeking out behind the mountains.

We both began to eat.

"Guess who's birthday is next week?" Nash said smirking.

"Ugh mine." I said.

I'm not that much of a party person. I especially hate it when they sing to me, it's like 'what the crap am I supposed to do? sit here and smile like an idiot?'

"No ugh. it's going to be fun. Trust me." he said

I laughed and laid back ok the blue matts.

He did he same.

"Do you ever- eh never mind." Nash began.

"No what." I said looking into his blue eyes.

"Do you ever, Um, think about your mom?" he asked and I sighed.

"Yeah- a lot. it's hard....." I began getting a little choked up.

"I'm sorry.... I don't mean to make you upset."

He pulled me in closer till I was laying on his bicep and had my hand on his chest.

A tear rolled down my face and he wiped it away with his thumb.

"I just don't know why..." I said and he looked down at me.

"Think of the positive. if it wasn't for the incident we wouldn't be dating. you wouldn't have a room in my house, and we wouldn't as close as we are now. I mean we were close before but not as close as now.... ashlynn. love you. with al of my heart,and I will always be there for you. always. now let's go lay on the beach and I'll let you make me into a mermaid in the sand." He said to me and I kissed him.

Our lips parted

"I just want to lay here with you... I love you." I said shutting my eyes.

»Nash's POV«

She fell asleep in my arms and I did the same in hers.

When I woke up ashlynn wasn't in my arms, so I walked downstairs.

The boat was gone.

So was everybody else.

I put on my life jacket and hopped on a jet ski.

I went out into the large lake until I found our boat with everyone on it.

I was floating on the jet ski next to the boat looking for my girlfriends bright face.

"Where's ashlynn?" I asked and everyone shrugged.

I looked around and spotted something slashing in the water.

I went over to it and was hit with a heart attack.

It was ashlynn drowning.

I struggle to get her as I yelled for help.

I was screaming her name as she was falling deeper and deeper.

I jumped In and grabbed her hand but she slipped through my fingertips.

She fell deeper as I was swimming after her.

I had to go up for air.

I swam up and I was yelling her name.
