*Walks out in my peach frock..."
DIRECTOR: LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION!
Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!
I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar looking and today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award The_Outkast
Thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. So I will start now with the usual question...
Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?
I love writing, singing, and drawing but I'm studying to become an emergency Doctor. I studied architecture for a semester. I have also been to 9 schools in 12 years and on my way to my 3rd University.
What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?
21 / 11-Feb-1996 / Aquarius
Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?
Poetry. What drew me to this genre is the very first time I wrote a poem. I wrote it in 2009 (grade 8) and when I showed it to my teacher, she gave it to someone who got it published in a newspaper; which was so exciting!! Ever since, I've been writing poems relating to everyday events such as heart break, betrayal, wars etc. Poetry is one of the most genuine ways to express one's feelings without needing to confront anyone.
What do people hate the most about you?
That I'm overly nice and that I never say no. (Mainly my best friends get annoyed bu that)
What's the most strangest thing you have done?
I don't remember to be honest 😂
Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?
I'm going through it right now. You just need to take some time off, stop thinking about your book, read other books and inspiration will find its way to you.
How do you react to negative comments?
I don't usually get them (thank God) but the only way to deal with them is either ignore them (cuz they're nothing but words on a screen right?) or react with kindness. If that doesn't work out, block them, cuz nobody needs that kind of negativity in their life!
Which person would you like to meet from WP and why? Tag them.
MPadgett because she's such an amazing writer and person and meeting her would definitely be the highlight of my life!
Who are your favorite authors?
MPadgett86 - Daniel_Barnett - AvaViolet - EverlarkCatonis - SweetDreamer - PineappleGirl
What do your family say about your writing?
They love it very much! They also say it's powerful and conveys a good message.
Favourite Quote –
"Promise me you'll always love me, because I'm not sure what happens in my story if you ever stop" The Postcard by MPadgett86
Places you want to visit –
Australia, China, Singapore
Are you a good liar? Tell a lie.
Nope.
What's one thing people love the most about you?
I THINK that I'm friendly and outgoing and an overly kind heart (which sometimes screws me over)
What makes you really mad? Name one pet peeve.
Spreading rumors about people. When someone stops being friends with someone else for no reason. Backstabbing.
Any insane wish? Name one.
To be able to work with MSF and to meet CNCO
Are you living the life you really want to live?
Definitely! Studying and hopefully will work where I want to which is more thanI could ever ask for. Also, I'm with my family which is a bonus!
Relationship status?
Single for life because wattpad books raised my standards too high for normal guys to meet.
Best thing about being YOU?
I have a huge following and a big platform where I can raise awareness about important issues.
Is being a writer a gift or a curse?
Definitely a gift because you have the opportunity to create worlds with only a paper and a pen (or phone).
You only get 3 words to describe yourself – what are they?
Loyal - Friendly - Compassionate
Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just see where an idea takes you?
I visualize the ending of a chapter then write til I get there.
What do you think about The Freedom Awards? Would you like to suggest something to better it next time?
It's pretty great the way it is :)
How do you feel about winning a Freedom Award?
I still can't believe it actually happened soooo.....
Any Message for the people of Wattpad?
Never give up! My novel used to have 95 views for 2 years. With a few changes to the plot and cover and title, it gained about 4K in 1 month. Anything is possible, with determination and perseverance; you'll definitely get there. Remember that it's a process, and each process needs its time to flourish and shine. So work hard and don't give up❤️❤️
