DIRECTOR: LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION!
Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!
I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar. Today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award AprilFitts.
Thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. So I will start now...
Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?
The first most important special part of my life is my three children. They are determined, strong, intelligent, and beautiful. All three of my children are on the Autism Spectrum. Throughout our life and challenges, they have taught me to never give up. I truly want to become a professional and successful author one day, and hopefully have a chance to show them just how much they taught me.
What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?
I am a June baby! Who is gonna throw me a party!!!
Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?
I won in the Chiklit genre!
I will have to be honest, I am drawn to many genres. I guess that is why I have so many books I am working on at the same time. As for writing and reading Chiklit stories, I love reading how a woman throughout time, trials, and tribulations becomes a stronger and better person. Of course I love romance...so if this is added to Chiklit I am set for life!!!
What do people hate the most about you?
Hmmm...what do people hate about me?
Well, I guess my sarcastic answer would be, "What kind of people are we talking about here??" Lol! Anyways, I am too straight forward, but at least my honest comes with a smile, right???
What's the most strangest thing you have done?
Lol! You would like to know what is the strangest thing I have done??? No.no.no.no. This is not my style of question lol!!
More like...how many strange THINGS have I done? Yes. That sounds more accurate! :)
Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?
Writer's block can be quite scary to many people; The pressure of finishing your writing by a time frame, worrying over what will your readers think, or worse...how many counts will your chapter get!
I remind myself why I started writing in the first place. I kept watching movies and imagining different endings. I would read books and think to myself, "Hey! That story just gave me a great idea, I really should write it down!" One simple decision caused my fingers to flow across the keyboard. It was exciting! I was excited! I was ready to share with the world my imagination even if was bizarre. I wrote, not caring about the grammar nor all the other silly demands. I wrote because I enjoyed it.
I guess my advice after you have had to read all that boring information would be to please remember, if you try to cram and cram your ideas too quickly, eventually your brain is going to freak out! Walk away from your notepad or screen for a few moments. Grab a drink, snack, fresh air, and remember why you started writing in the first place. Hopefully, once you figure our the grand answer to your question, and are stuffed from the kitchen, the words should start to flow once more!
