*Walks out in my purple dress..."

DIRECTOR: LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION!

Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!

I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar. Today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award Letheian.

Thank you so much Fleur for agreeing to this interview. So I will start now...

Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?

I got kicked out of kindergarten. I'm a much better student now but yeah. I didn't choose the thug life y'all, the thug life chose me. * Makes vaguely badass hand movements *

What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?

16, 26th March, Aries

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?

My book belongs to the Action category. I wish I had an interesting answer for this but in all honesty it's just me. I love the physicality, the adrenaline rush, the feeling of absolute wonder as all the pieces come together and most importantly I love trying to make people experience that just like I do when I read or write action.

What do people hate the most about you?

I'm one of those people on trips who can't sit still and keeps fidgeting. I remember this one time I went to Nepal as a part of this internship I was doing and I asked my mentor for work to do. We'd just gotten off the flight. #NerdAlert

What's the most strangest thing you have done?

I once broke a window with my bare foot.

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?

I do get writer's block sometimes and I'm sure everyone does. I think what works for me is writing an absolutely rubbish scene just pouring out all the rubbish I've thought up without overthinking it. And then I leave it alone and go over it the next day to sort of separate some of the good ideas in there and use it to structure a scene which I work into the plotline.

How do you react to negative comments?

I haven't gotten that many if I'm honest since I'm not that well known a writer yet. But it does hurt and the best thing that you can do is try to see if it has any merit and if not then just try to move past it. A friend once told me I should stop writing Shadow Knight and that really really hurt. But it's important to never let that get you down. After all, J.K. Rowling got rejected by multiple publishers, all truly awesome writers do sometimes ;).

Which person would you like to meet from WP and why? Tag them.

Hepburnettes. She's an inspiration to me and a lot of aspiring authors out there.

Who are your favorite authors?

On Wattpad

- Hepburnettes

- Tamara Morgan

- Lyssade

What does your family say about your writing?

My parents think I should be a lawyer and that writing should just be a hobby.

Favourite Quote –

Genius ain't anything more than elegant common sense.

What's one thing people love the most about you?

I'm really good at getting people presents and planning out their birthday parties.

Are you living the life you really want to live?

I believe so. I'm trying out so many new things and learning to love myself more and more every day.

Best thing about being YOU?

My friends. I have people who have my back and always will and that's hard to find.

Is being a writer a gift or a curse?

It's a little bit of both. I literally have like fifteen books in drafts with sequels, prequels and spin offs all multiplying in my head. Like legit my head is like a rabbit farm just making more and more babies. But yes it's amazing and when I finally finish Shadow Knight, I know I'll find some peace.

You only get 3 words to describe yourself – what are they?

Awkward, Perfectionist, Dirty-minded

Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just see where an idea takes you?

I have a outline in mind when I start making sure I can set the background for the whodunnit in advance. But I always go back and modify and change what I've come up with because my characters choose another path.

What do you think about The Freedom Awards? Would you like to suggest something to better it next time?

I think it was pretty awesome and really well organized. I can't really think of anything to improve it if I'm honest.

How do you feel about winning a Freedom Award?

I remember waking up and going like this isn't real and low-key freaking out.

Any Message for the people of Wattpad?
