Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!

I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar. Today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award ShawMcKnight.

Thank you so much for agreeing to this interview. So I will start now...

Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?

I wrote my first book when I was twelve. It was horrible but even then I always had a story in my head.

What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?

Jan 2 Capricorn which means I'm honest and loyal but it also means I'm unforgiving and always expect the worst.

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?

Teen Fiction I like so many genres and would one day like to write a book for everyone of them.

What do people hate the most about you?

I believe in rules. It's a thing with me. Some people are bothered by how bad I am about this.

What's the most strangest thing you have done?

Can't think of one. I'm very boring and don't mind that.

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?

Not yet! Sometimes I find some scenes harder to write than others. Fight scene are hard for me. My Tip* If you're in a writing mood, don't let anything stand in your way. Forget the dishes, eat out and record Supernatural. Because the creativity will slow.

How do you react to negative comments?

Heart break and despair. Then I give myself a pep talk, which amounts to no help. Here lately it's the good comments that keeps me going. I try to remember that everyone will not like your book just like you don't like every book you pick up.

Which person would you like to meet from WP and why? Tag them.

Apryl Baker When I was first introduced to Wattpad The Ghost Files was the first book I came across. Very good series.

Who are your favorite authors?

Jennifer L Armentrout. Not only does she have the Lux Series, she has so many more good books. Johanna Lindsey. My grandmother loved her and introduced me to her books. I would tease my grandmother about romance books being the woman's Playboy. Johanna Lindsey and my grandmother are what got me hooked on reading. Then there's Julie Garwood, Richelle Mead, Linda Howard, Meg Cabot, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan Okay, I'll stop now but I could go on.

What does your family say about your writing?

All nice things but I think they're lying. Secretly, they wish I'd stop asking them to read over everything.

Favourite Quote –

Did you think you could stop me? I'll burn the world down to save her.

Places you want to visit –

I'm a home body. Though I do plan on visiting the faerie realms very soon. I don't like faerie books but I've been told that A Court of Thorns and Roses is a must read. Wish me luck.

Are you a good liar? Tell a lie.

I just might be the worst liar in the world. All that guilt? no thank you

What kinda person are you?

Shy. Like really bad but i'm getting better

What's one thing people love the most about you?

You'll have to ask them!!

Hobbies besides writing?

Reading every chance I get!

What makes you really mad? Name one pet peeve

I hate how mean some people can be. How boring life would be if everyone was exactly the same.

What do you think about Escapist?

Great. Organized and on top of things.

Any insane wish? Name one.

Only one? World peace? No wait, this isn't a beauty pageant. I have six great loves of my life. My wish is for them to be safe, healthy and happy. In that order. This is my wish on every falling star I see. Though world peace would be nice. Especially since one of the great loves of my life is in the army.

Are you living the life you really want to live?

I believe I am. (knock on wood) I like my life, I love my family, and I'm finally embracing the storyteller that lives in my head.

Best thing about being YOU?

My love ones

Is being a writer a gift or a curse?

Both! I'm never bored but I also don't sleep much either.

You only get 3 words to describe yourself – what are they?

Loyal. Honest. Dreamer

Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just see where an idea takes you?

I make a few outlines but sometimes I'm even surprised where things end up.

What do you think about The Freedom Awards? Would you like to suggest something to better it next time?

I love the Freedom Awards. I'm thankful to all the hard work that must have been put into it. For next time, maybe some smaller contest or games as we wait.

How do you feel about winning a Freedom Award?

Honored. It's the first thing I can ever remember winning and for it to be for something that means so much to me is amazing.

Any Message for the people of Wattpad?

Be honest. Be kind. Remember we're all the same here.
