Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!

Welcome all...

I'm you host and dost Kounj Muzafar. Today we have another honorable and lovely Author MistressCara and winner of a Freedom Award for her book LIKE MINDS.

Welcome Cara, thank you so much for agreeing to this interview, its so nice to have you here. We will start with the usual question...

Tell us a little something special yourself and your background?

I'm Asian, bisexual, and currently in grad school studying psychology. Pretty boring, huh? :P

What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign? I'm a Gemini-Cancer cusp. For those not familiar with astrology, my birthday is "on the line" between Gemini and Cancer. This makes reading daily horoscopes a major pain in the butt because I never know which one to read. >.<

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?

Mystery/Thriller. It probably goes way back to when I was a kid growing up with famous sleuths like Nancy Drew, The Famous Five, Hardy Boys, Encyclopedia Brown, etc. That later graduated to works by Mary Higgins Clark, Robin Cook, John Grisham, Robert Ludlum, etc. I guess I always have a thing for books with an intricate plot that requires me to use my brain to solve something.

What do people hate the most about you? I'm blunt and straightforward to the point of rude and offensive. Those who know me understand that's my way of caring and helping them. Those who don't know me would think I'm a cold, heartless b****.

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block? *
Of course. Three words: Take a break. If you've been sitting in front of your computer for hours and couldn't think of anything to write, chances are you won't think of anything new by sitting there for another hour, so give you eyes and brain some rest. Whether it's cuddling with your pets or making yourself a cup of tea/coffee, sometimes resting can give you some new insight.

How do you react to negative comments?

Um... tbh, I don't react much. I mean, they're just comments. You get whatever you can get out of it then move on. Don't get me wrong, but I've got better things to do than to sit and mope over negative comments.

list your top three favorite books.

Asking for a top three list is pure torture for a bookworm like me. I don't have a top three, but I have an extremely long list of books I've read and loved. If I list them all, we're not going to finish this interview anytime soon.
