DIRECTOR: LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION!
Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!
I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar looking hot as hell right here. And today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award sapphire_blue0202
Thank you so much sapphire_blue0202Shanelle for agreeing to this interview. So I will start now with the usual question...
Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?
Well, the first question that came to mind was, "Do I have a background?' Now, that's a great question, so I'll try and answer it.
My dad's Welsh, and my family lived in England when I was really young, which was cruel. I mean, I could have forgiven them for that if they didn't do a Europe tour when I was 18 months old. I can't remember anything. But, I'm planning on making up for it by living in London after I graduate from uni. I've wanted to be an actress for quite a while, and I've been writing as long I can remember. I also play the trumpet in my school band. I feel like this is too long already, so I'll stop now. But, I'm sure that was a great paragraph of feeling awkward bc of my tragic attempts at humour :)
What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?
I am 14 years old, I was born on the 20th of June, 2003, and I am a Gemini (although, when it says that Geminis will be homeless in ten years, I tend to pick Cancer).
Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?
Exitium was (and still is) in the Fanfiction genre. I guess what draws me to this genre is the fact that I can continue a tv series, movie or book that I really enjoyed, through doing what I love most. It's funny, because people always think that Fanfiction is a cop out, like you can't think of your own story, and you're just a pathetic fan. But it's actually one of the hardest genres to write, because you have to capture characters that someone else has created.
What do people hate the most about you?
I don't know! None of my friends would tell me, nor would my family members. I begged and begged, and they were just like, 'Nicola, you're great. I don't hate anything about you' and I'm like, 'why?'. I feel like I'm kind of dark and weird, maybe that's it? Or maybe I talk about myself too much, idk...
What's the most strangest thing you have done?
Ok, so this one time, I had a crush on this dude, and we were out with friends. He ordered the same drink as me, and I looked at him like it MEANT something. Like wtf... Or, there's the time I said to my friend, 'I AM A SEMEN'. That was pretty weird...
Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block? *
Omg, I definitely get writer's block. Generally, I read what I've written so far and listen to music. That normally inspires me. If not, then I go die in a hole. (:
How do you react to negative comments?
Uh, I don't really get many comments so I've never gotten one. But idk, if it was rude, like, 'Sapphire, your book is sh*t' I'd probably ask them to try and keep to constructive criticism, or like tell me what is "sh*t", because 'Your book is sh*t' isn't very helpful lol.
