Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!

I'm your host and dost (friend) Kounj Muzafar. Today I'm very lucky to be interviewing our honorable Author Delliepup and winner of a Freedom Award for her book The Quite One. 

 So lets start with the interview...

First off, Edel your name so beautiful. I want to kiss your parents' hands for giving you such beautiful name. Lol, okay this is too much but seriously when I take the name it feels like I'm eating chocolate. Edel. Wow, its so unique and beautiful. 

So yeah, tell us a little something special yourself and your background?

I'm a bit of an introvert. I'm not antisocial by any means, but I prefer my own company more than being with others. Although I am very talkative with my friends and family.

What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign? 

28. I was born in July, but that's all I'm comfortable with sharing. And I'm a Leo.  

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre? 

Werewolf. I have always loved mythical creatures growing up, and when I was in school I started writing short horror stories that involved werewolves and vampires and my teachers enjoyed them. I haven't written in years though, but I've decided to take it more seriously now and publish my work for others to read.

What do people hate the most about you? 

I am quite harsh with my opinions, sometimes to the extent that I regret it afterwards.

What's the most strangest thing you have done?

I suppose this wouldn't be strange in itself, but it's definitely the oddest thing I've ever done. When I was a child, I saw an ad on TV for the breakfast cereal "Cookie Crumble". It was mini chocolate chip cookies but for breakfast. So I decided I didn't want to wait until my parents did the grocery shopping to get the cereal. Instead I tried to make my own with a packet of chocolate chip cookies, which I didn't realise were bigger than the cookies in the cereal, and milk. It didn't work out very well and I got into a little bit of trouble.

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block? 

Oh, yes. Writing through it doesn't work for me. If I get stuck on a chapter, or I just can't work out a certain scene or piece of dialogue, I leave it, listen to some music, and sleep on it. I find that after some time away, my creative juices start flowing again.

How do you react to negative comments? 

In the beginning I used to just snap at commenters, which I am so ashamed of now. But over time (and with the help of Book clubs) I learned to take a deep breath and just realise that while the comments may not be full of praise, they are meant with the best of intentions to help me improve. I always say thank you for the feedback, even if I don't agree with it.
