DIRECTOR: LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION!

Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!

I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar looking and today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award cookiesncream56

Thank you so much Haven Ainsley Young  for agreeing to this interview. Your pen name is so elegant btw. So I will start now...

What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?

I am a teenager ;) somewhere between 12-18. My zodiac sign is Aquarius!

Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?

I am part Métis and German. I have a lot more European blood in me, but I don't actually know what XD

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?

My winning book belonged to the category of short story. The inspiration came from Cupidhabits, who wrote amazing short stories and made me want to try my hand at it. I love short stories now.

What do people hate the most about you?

I am super introverted and would rather stay behind a book then talk to people. When I do, I can have a snark attitude.

What's the most strangest thing you have done?

In my elementary school, there was this small door in the girl's bathroom that was locked, and all the girls were interested in what was inside. So me, being the "smart" kid I was, I used my diary key to try and pick the lock. I got in trouble and never found out what was inside XD

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?

ALL THE TIME! Seriously. It's annoying. My tip is that when you get writer's block, write in a different genre. Why do you think I have so many books of different genres? So when I get uninspired for one, I'll write in another. Though if you don't feel comfortable writing in a different genre, try writing a different book. Then, read lots and lots of Wattpad books in the genre you want to write. It always inspires me. :)

How do you react to negative comments?

Well, I'm not that popular, so I rarely get negative comments on my stories, though I have on other social media platforms. So here is Haven's step by step guide on how I react.

1. LOSE MY MIND. WHY DID THEY WRITE THIS????? WHY ARE THEY SO MEAN???

2. Try to respond in a nice, positive way. Or just delete it.

3. Block and report the user.

Which person would you like to meet from WP and why? Tag them.

I would like to meet kmbell92, who's an amazing fanfiction and original fiction author. I think she would really inspire me, and I have a lot of questions I want to ask. Also adam_and_jane, who's written a teen fiction novel currently on my shelf, Follow Me Back. I love her writing style and think she should publish more books some day.

Who are your favorite authors?

I love JK Rowling, which should come as no surprise. John Green, Cassandra Clare, Sarah J Maas, the list goes on and on.

What do your family say about your writing?

Well, they do know I write, but I don't let them read my writing. They say they want to read it... but they're not allowed. Except my sister. She's cool.

Favourite Quote –

"Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not in the way we expect it" -Luna Lovegood

Places you want to visit –

Europe. Literally anywhere. Paris, London, Greece, Germany, the list goes on and on.

Are you a good liar? Tell a lie.

I'm not a good liar.

What's one thing people love the most about you?

I'm funny, according to my friend. *shrugs*

What makes you really mad? Name one pet peeve

When someone's talking to me when I have my headphones on. Also when people are flat out sexist or racist.

What do you think about IEscapist?

I like IEscapist. She's cool. :)

They seem super nice and I adore their writing style.

Any insane wish? Name one.

World Peace. Because with some people, it'll never happen.

Are you living the life you really want to live?

No. Our world is crumbling, and it's all the human's fault. We have terrorists and Global Warming and other awful things. And I can't stop it.

Relationship status?

I'm a single pringle.

Best thing about being YOU?

My eyes.

Just kidding (they're hazel). I love where I live, my friends, family, and I love my passions and past and basically everything underneath my appearance.

Is being a writer a gift or a curse?

GIFT. EVERYONE GET TO WRITING. GET LOST IN YOUR WORLD.

You only get 3 words to describe yourself – what are they?

writer, crazy, bookworm

Do you work to an outline or plot or do you prefer just see where an idea takes you?

Both. For my book Seeing Colors, I plotted every single chapter. For my winning story stranger-, I didn't plot at all and finished it really quick.

How do you feel about winning a Freedom Award?

It's the first award I've won on Wattpad and I was super shocked I won it. I'm so happy that people think my work is good.

Any Message for the people of Wattpad?

It doesn't matter what genre you write. It doesn't matter what fandom you're in. If you stop fighting and being jealous and leaving hate comments, the world would be a better place.

Here we will end this interview. Thank you so much again for joining us today andI hope you had as much as we did.
