DIRECTOR: LIGHTS, CAMERA ACTION!

Assalam o Alaikum and hello friends and fans!!

I'm your host and dost Kounj Muzafar looking and today we have another honorable and lovely Author and winner of a Freedom Award Footiegirl04

Thank you so much Lauren for agreeing to this interview. So I will start now...

What's your age, your date of birth and zodiac sign?

I am currently 18 years old and will become 19 on the 19th of December. which makes me a Sagittarius :D

Tell us a little something special about yourself and your background?

I don't really find anything "special" about me to be completely honest with you. I just see myself as a normal 18 year old. But background wise I am the eldest of two daughters and i'm currently studying to become a vet at university.

Which genre did your winner book belong to? What draws you to this genre?

My book "A Cowan Folk Tale" was in the Historical fiction genre. I have always been obsessed with history and learning about the royal families so writing a book based on what I love really inspired me to learn more and create a world with historical links.

What do people hate the most about you?

Well currently I have some readers that hate the fact that I have created a cute couple that i'm not allowing to be together. But as a whole and people who don't read my stories, they hate how blunt I am. I am not one to sugar coat anything I say so they struggle to accept what I say or just think i'm saying it in order to hurt them. When in reality i'm just being honest.

What's the most strangest thing you have done?

The weirdest thing I ever done, was when I was little. I was around 5 years old and I had just seen my dad eat white chocolate and he wouldn't let me try any. So as a grumpy child I stormed of and went upstairs. However something caught my eye. A bar of soap... So my brain then told me "ooo chocolate" so I decided it would be a great idea to eat this bar of soap. Obviously this didn't go well and I ended up rushing down stairs and throwing up all over the kitchen floor, which when I looked at it you could see bubbles all in the sick.... Lets just say I've never ate soap or white chocolate since.

Do you ever get writer's Block? Give one tip on how to get through the dreaded writer's block?

I get writer's block a lot! and it is really hard for me. However luckily I have other outlets that I can use to play with the characters and see how they would react to things. For example I play sims and I have my main 3 characters that I just do random stuff with in a save game, or I sketch a lot with I end up drawing items or people that I use later on in my story. So my suggestion for anyone with writer's block, don't get frustrated give yourself a hour or so even the rest of the day if you have to, just give yourself a break and do something with your characters that isn't anything to do with your story imagine them in a completely different universe, let them see new things and think about how they react because that can help a lot with developing your characters and making the story writing easier since you will just be writing about a friend you know a lot about, an extension of yourself.
