alysha's pov

i rush over to where simon is sitting with a big smile on my face.

it's been so long. too long in fact. and yet, he's not changed one bit. fuck...

"it's been a while, huh." simon comments as he watches me sit down. i nod, "indeed it has." "so what happened after you left?" he asks. "well, i got home schooled." i say with a nod. "oh," simon hums. "which was nice actually as it's brought me and my mum closer together." i smile. "awe, that's good." simon smiles back at me before taking a bite out of the slice of chocolate cake. "yeah." i nod.

"so, what about you? what happened after i left?" i ask. "well, surprisingly, josh, aka mr. bradley, didn't yell or get mad at me." simon says, sounding confused. "oh, that's because i told him not to." i admit. "what, why?" he asks. "it was all my fault. i made you "fall for me" when i knew it was wrong." i explain. "so you took all the damage, for me?" he asks. i nod, "of course i did." "but, why?" he asks. i sigh before talking. "because i care about you. even to this day i do. and i still love you." i admit.

i watch as simon's face turns a light pink colour. his hand gently grabs mine from under the table, making me smile and blush a little.

"i love you too, still." simon mutters quietly. "really?" i ask. he nods, "of course i do. you're my babygirl." he smiles at me. i lightly laugh, "cute."

"we should... hang out some time." simon says before taking a large gulp of his coffee. "indeed." i nod with a smile. "when and where is best for you?" he asks. "tomorrow lunch time, and wherever." i shrug. "how about the place this all started?" he suggests. "what? here?" i ask. "no. the place we first met." he says. "heavenly? i-i won't be allowed back in surely." i say. "you will. trust me." simon says. i sigh, "promise?" i ask. "i promise, aly." he nods. "o-okay." i nod.

"alysha! back to work now!" my boss, nikita, yells. "okay!" i yell back at her.

"see you tomorrow then, simon." i smile at him as i stand up. our hands still cling onto one another. "see you tomorrow, dear." simon smiles back at me as he sadly lets go of my hand.

i let out a sigh before making my way back to the till to serve some more customers.
