Trigger Warning: Detailed Car Crash

The rain is pouring heavily. I'm on my way home from visting an option for College. My family knew about it, but I wanted to go alone, so they don't bring persuasion or anything into it. They know I'm on my way home, my Mom, Laura, keeps checking on me. She keeps telling me to drive slowly and carefully due to the heavy rain.

Even if I am careful, something bad can still happen. Drunk drivers, or someone just driving fast, not caring about the rain that is making the roads slippery. They would have to be a really good driver, though.

Windshield wipers are not fast enough, apparently. They're trying their best, but everything is still so blurry due to the amount of rain drops on the windshield.

Try and focus, Josh, you should know the roads. I concentrate, and try and remember the roads I've driven on before. I see a lot of green beside me. Oh, I'm surrounded by a forest. I'm also approaching a curve. Steady and slow.

Then, everything was in slow motion. Going on the curve, someone else was there. The headlights blinded me, and I guess it was the same for them. They swerved into me, knocking me off the road into the trees.

My body jerked forward, and I banged my head on the steering wheel. The road was a bit higher, so when I went off the road my car flipped on to its side. I was then knocked around more. My head was slamed into the window, the shattered glass gashed a huge cut into my head. My nose is also bleeding from hitting my head on the steering wheel.

Everything's frozen. I can't feel anything. I feel numb everywhere. It's like I'm paralyzed. I'm dying, I'm sure I'm dying. I stare up at the sky, looking out the shattered window. I pray to God. Save me. Unless, it's my time to go. I'll go, but let my family be okay. Don't let anything bad happen to them.

The last thing I see are stars, then I drift off into a peaceful sleep. Darkness consumes me.

I wake up and every thing's bright white. It's a blinding light. I cover my eyes with my hand. The room or area soon starts to darken, yet it's still a full white place. I look around, not seeing anything. What's going on? Where am I? Am I dead?

"Choose a door."

I turn around to be greeted with a man. He has brown hair. He's wearing a robe-like wrap. He has wings, which is not normal. His wings are half-white, half-black. Like an angel and demon's. What's the heck is going on?

"Who are you?" I ask, confused. He smiles, "I'm the path director. Everyone who dies, I give them the two options they have. Red door, you go straight to hell. Blue, you are able to get in Heaven, but you must save two living things. Now choose your path. Blue or red?"

I immediately know my answer. I head straight for the blue door.
"Good luck, Josh." How does he know my- wait, he's magical. Nevermind that. I nod my head as a response and go through the door.

~

I open my eyes to see light rain and a forest. I hear sirens and look around for what's going on. It's a car wreck. I-is this my car wreck? I walk over toward the commotion, and inspect the car. It definitely is my car. Looks just like it and has the same tag. I watch as medics pull out a stretcher and move toward the car. They pull out a body.

I close my eyes, it's me. I bite my lip, eyes watering. I'm really dead.

"There's no hope, this one is a goner," a medic sighs dolefully.

I feel like I'm being shifted, and I feel dizzy. I look up and everything's normal, except I'm no longer surrounded by the forest. I'm in front of a house. Do I go in it? Is this where I live now? Is this where I can save someone?

Please, God, help me. I sigh, and move closer to the house. I take a deep breath. Here goes nothing.

I'm really excited for this fanfic. I hope it's good, but it'll probably suck because I suck at writing good stories and coming up with ideas. Anyway, hope you like it. Stay Alive, Frens💗
