Josh jerked up in the bed when a light tapping was sounded on the window. He cautiously got out of the bed, trying his best not to go through Tyler and make him cold. The recently crying boy had finally fallen asleep.
Josh hesitantly moved to the window. He then proceeded to stare at the figure, unsure if they could see him or not. The figure looked up and Josh noticed a hand movement that told him to open the window, so he did.
A tall brunette climbed through and closed the window behind him due to the cold. Josh furrowed his eyebrows, completely confused, "Who are you? How do you see me?" The bright blue-eyed man smiled at him, "I'm Dallon."
"That still doesn't explain anything, what's going on? How can you see me?" Dallon chuckled, "I'm here to help you, well, push you forward. I've been in your place, Josh, I saved this guy named Brendon. I was a ghost once, but I've succeeded in my quest to 'save myself,' I guess you could say. I can't help you fully, but I can give you some tips."
Josh shrugs off Dallon knowing his name, he was perhaps sent to help him. Josh nods to Dallon, "Okay, tell me what I need to know." Dallon gives a soft smile and begins.
"First, you're able to do things like speak or touch when there's a perfect amount of emotion involved. If you truly care for them and want to save them, anytime they're sad or something, you can feel for them, so you're able to speak to them or touch something. Also, when speaking to them, it's like we're a conscious to them."
Josh nods, mentally taking notes. This information can help him greatly.
"Anything else?" Josh asks. Dallon nods his head towards Tyler, "What's his name?" Josh furrows his brows, "Tyler.""Do whatever you can to save Tyler and make him find out about you." Dallon states. Dallon turns and starts opening the window, but Josh stops him.
"What if I mess up?" Josh frowns. Dallon smiles and glances at Tyler.
"Do you care about him?" he looks back at Josh. Josh nods his head.
"I think you have your answer."
He won't.Josh stares at Dallon as he quickly and quietly climbs back out the window. He swoops around and gives a small salute as a goodbye.
"See you around."
Then, he's off back to Brendon.Josh walks back over to the bed. He checks the time and decides to stay awake it being almost turn for Tyler to get up. Maybe he can make Tyler question things and get him into finding out if there's a ghost in his house? He doesn't exactly know how, but he might stick to the plan. It could plausibly work.
Tyler's alarm goes off and he reluctantly gets up. He groggily goes and gets a towel, sets it down, and then figures out what he's going to wear. After he's picked out what he wears, he goes into the bathroom. Josh notices he forgot his towel.
The shower turns on and Josh debates of he should go and put the towel in there for Tyler. He hestitantly tries to pick up the towel, shocked at his success at doing so. He walks to the door and decides it's worth a try, so he grabs the handle. He grins at feeling the cold brass. The door squeaks when he opens it, getting Tyler's attention.
"Mom, that you?" Tyler asks, confusion evident in his voice. Josh, scared of Tyler's next actions, moves the towel behind him, out of view of the shower.Tyler peeps his head out of the shower since there wasn't a response to his question. He instantly furrows his brows in confusion as the bathroom door is wide open, and he swore he closed it. Well, shit. Tyler blinks a couple times in confusion, but moves back under the shower head. Josh quickly places the towel on the counter and exits. He doesn't bother closing the door, as Tyler has already seen it open.
Soon, Tyler is done with his shower and ready for the day. He jogs down to the kitchen and sits with his family.
During the middle of breakfast, Tyler decides to ask.
"Did any of you come into my bathroom while I was showering?" His family responds with a mix of plain 'no's' and some 'ew, no's.'Tyler, now utterly confused and slightly terrified, decides to forget it and get to school.

Josh has been following Tyler around the whole day, going to every class of his and sitting there with him at lunch with his friends. They're now walking down the hall towards Tyler's locker, so he can get stuff for his next period.
Tyler stops mid walk and stares straight infront of him. Josh follows his gaze and frowns as it's his locker- Josh's locker. There are flowers around it and sticky notes all over the locker. Josh slowly walks up and skims over the notes.
Josh wasn't very popular, he was known, but not one of the populars. He reads the notes from his friends and he's overcomed with sadness. He wants to cry as he spots a note from his sister, Ashley.
"Hey Big Bro, it's Ash. I just wanted you to know that we all miss you dearly. It's not the same without you. To be honest, I miss you beating the drums and annoying the heck out of all of us with it. You could've gone somewhere with that. We're all coping, don't worry. We'll be okay. Love, Ashley♡"
Josh turned to Tyler, who was now right beside Josh. He noticed Tyler was reading the notes, too. He watched Tyler lightly grasp the sticky note from Ashley as he read it. "He played the drums; sick," Tyler whispered, "Makes me wish I knew him even more." Tyler sighs.
"He was a great guy," a feminine voice states from beside Tyler. Both tyler and Josh jump and turn toward the girl. Ashley.
"I-I've heard about him, he did sound great." Tyler says. Ashley nods, "I'm Ashley, Ash for short. I'm Josh's sister." Tyler's eyes widen, "Oh, I-I'm sorry for your loss. I'm Tyler. D-do you think you could tell me more about Josh?" Ashley smiles and nods her head."Josh had hazel eyes. His smile could light up the room. He had brown hair, but he loved to dye it multiple colors. When he died, it was bright red. He recently had just got it done. He also got Mom to sign for him to get a tattoo. I can't believe she agreed to it; it's a sleeve tattoo. He had gauges, I guess you could say he looked very punk. He loved cats; always tried befriending strays. He loved to play drums, it was his passion. He was determined to help people, and to save our baby sister, Abigail. She was kidnapped. Josh was an amazing brother and person." Ashley sighs, reminiscing about Josh. Tyler smiles at how highly she thinks of Josh, it's very cute for a sibling to think like that of their sibling.
"Do you think we could hang out? I'd really like to know more and it's free period." Ashley grins and nods her head understanding, "Yeah, of course." They go into a classroom with some of Josh and Ashley's friends and continue chatting. At one point, everyone's laughing and Tyler looks at an empty desk. A desk that looks to be where Josh sat, like this is their spot. He stares and stares and furrows his brows when his eyes lock with hazel eyes. He's confused on what's happening and if someone just sat there or not. The face turns and laughs at their friends again and then back to Tyler.
Tyler rubs his eyes and stares back at the spot and yes, bright red hair, hazel eyes, and a bright smile is still sitting there laughing and smiling.
Josh glances at Tyler to see him staring straight at him. He furrows his brows. Can Tyler see him? He watches curiously as Tyler rubs his eyes and stares back at him in shock and confusion. He doesn't know what to do, so he resorts to the only idea in his brain.
"Can you see me?" Josh asks.
