T w e l v e

When they had got home, Tyler immediately went to the computer. He was determined to find out what had happened to Abigail, so he was going to start to research. He tried looking for clues on what happened to her. He read every article about her kidnapping. He had tired himself by being so determined to find out what happened to Abigail. Unfortunately, he found nothing of use.

From 5PM to 12AM, all he did was search for anything that would help. He fell asleep in the chair at his desk. Josh had noticed this, and quietly walked over and picked him up bridal style. He gently placed him on his bed and covered him up. He kissed his forehead and whispered, "Goodnight, Ty."

Tyler started to stir at 11AM. Luckily, Tyler was still on Thanksgiving break.

"Tyler," Josh said. Tyler's eyes fluttered open slowly. He stared at Josh in question.
"Yeah, Josh?" he asked, turning towards him while stretching. Josh softly smiled.
"Happy Birthday, Ty." Josh stated.

Realization took upon Tyler. Today was December 1st, his birthday. He was seventeen. He grinned at Josh, "T-thanks, Josh." Josh pulled him into a hug, Tyler smiled into it. He sighed in content.

"Do you think I can take you out later to celebrate?" Josh asked. Tyler's eyes widened, "L-like as a date?" Josh was about to respond, but was immediately interrupted by the door barging open.

"Happy Birthday, Tyler!" his family exclaimed. They all stopped in shock at what they saw. Tyler was sitting on Josh, seeing as they just hugged. They were extremely close together.

Tyler smiled and scooted off the bed. Maddy jumped in his arms and hugged him, and he spun her around. Josh smiled at the action.
"Thanks guys, I love you all so much." Tyler hugged everyone.

"Josh, since you're here, you can have cake with us." Kelly stated. Josh smiled, "Thanks, Mrs. Joseph."
"You can call me, Kelly," she grinned.

They all walked downstairs and sang happy birthday to Tyler. He made a wish as he blew out the candles, like usual. They all dug in to the delicious cake. Tyler couldn't have been happier.

After eating cake, Josh and Tyler went upstairs to get ready. Luckily, they both decided to ignore the conversation earlier and try to avoid getting into it again. After a couple of minutes, they were both ready. Tyler frowned at Josh wearing what he has worn everyday.
"We need to get you new clothes, you must hate having to wear the same outfit everyday. Plus, you might start stinking." Tyler states.
Josh shakes his head, "Ty, I appreciate it, but you don't need to waste money on me. We can just wash these and I can shower." Tyler grabs the car keys and hums, "No, we're getting you new clothes."
"Okay, fine, but let me drive," Josh chuckles. Tyler grins due to his victory, and tosses Josh the keys.

After a couple of minutes of silent driving, Tyler breaks the silence.
"Josh, d-do you get nervous with driving?" Tyler asks hesitantly. Josh tenses.
"I-I don't know. I feel okay right now, but yeah, I do have a slight fear of wrecking again." Josh states. Tyler nods.

Finally, they reach the mall. They wander around, looking for a store that might catch Josh's attention.
"Josh, where did you shop before?" Tyler asks, trying to make things easier. Josh tilts his head in thought. What seems like a light going off in Josh's head causes Josh to grab Tyler and rush to a store. Due to rushing, Josh runs right into someone, causing everyone to be pushed backwards.

Josh looks up at the man's face to be greeted with Dallon. The guy who helped him. Well, guided him.

"Josh, hey!" Dallon greets. Tyler's eyebrows furrow in confusion, "You guys know eachother?" Josh nods his head, "Uh, yeah. He actually helped me with my situation." Josh states. This causes the guy behind Dallon to perk up, "Situation? Dal, does he mean-?" Dallon nods his head, "Yeah, I helped him understand."

"Is this the guy you told me you helped-Brendon?" Josh asks Dallon. Dallon nods, "Yeah, this is my guy."
"If you've already helped him, why are you still with him?" Tyler asks. Brendon looks down, blushing.
"Me and Brendon are actually dating." Dallon states. Both Tyler and Josh nod their head.

"Do you guys want to hang out? Maybe help us with our research?" Josh asks. Dallon looks at Brendon for an answer on what he wants to do. Brendon nods his head.
"Yeah, we'd love to tag along."
"Okay, but first, we need to shop for Josh." Tyler states.
"Let's go!"
