Josh wakes up and glances at the clock: 6:00 on the dot. He gets up and does his normal morning routine, Tyler joining him a few minutes after.
They stand at Tyler's bathroom sink, brushing their teeth. Tyler rinses his mouth out and smiles up at Josh.
"You ready to see your little sister again?" he questions. Josh rinses his mouth out too, then looks at Tyler. He grins, "Yeah, she's been gone too long. It's time for her to come home." Tyler starts walking off out of the bathroom, but before he exits he states, "And for you, too."
They walk out of the house at 7:20. Tyler tosses Josh the keys like usual and they hop in the car.
"What's the address again?" Josh asks, grabbing the GPS. Tyler answers with the address of the Sanctuary, and Josh plugs it into the GPS.
"Let's go get Abigail back."
They arrive about 25 minutes later. It's a huge stone building with a pointy roof. It looks like a tiny castle. It's surrounded by nature, too. Vines grow up the place at some parts due to trees everywhere around it. They agree they'd feel uncomfortable if they lived here.
They walk up to the rustic, but vintage front door, and Josh knocks loudly. After about two minutes, the door opens revealing a young woman with long blue hair. Tyler speaks first, "Hello, I'm Tyler, this is Josh. May we come in?" The young woman nods and sticks her hand out for them to shake, "I'm Ashley, it's nice to meet you." She opens the door more and gestures for them to come in.
"I'm assuming you're here to visit the children; multiple people do. The kids are eating breakfast at the moment. You'll have to wait a few minutes." Ashley states. Tyler shakes his head, "Actually, we're here for something else, may we speak in a more private area?" he asks, glancing at the other workers in the room. Ashley nods her head and leads them to a private office.
She sits down in the office chair, and they sit opposite to her in regular chairs. She smiles hesitantly at them, "What are you here for?" Tyler smiles, "Can we have a little history on this place first? I would like to know how she's been doing." Ashley furrows her eyebrows and cocks her head to the side, however, she still nods her head.
"Lost Hope Sanctuary is for kids who have lost hope. Hope in anything; happiness, safety, love, etc. Most kids wandered up here, lost and depressed. I, myself wandered up here years ago. This Sanctuary takes in those kids who deal with depression and are trying to find themselves, or trying to find a way. We take care of them, help them feel safe again, help them feel happy once more. We help guide them to the right path, the path that keeps them alive, that keeps them motivated to keep trying." Ashley explains to them. She smirks, "Now, who are you here for?"
Finally, Josh speaks up, "My sister, Abigail Dun. We've been searching for her for what feels like forever. We finally found her. We want to bring her home." Ashley nods, "Follow me." She leads them to a bedroom for the kids, and tells them to wait here. She walks into another room. When she comes back, a little girl with red hair is following right behind her. Ashley moves her from out from behind her and into the sight of Josh and Tyler.
Abigail looks up and her eyes brighten.
"Josh," she whispers. Josh walks up to her, "Hey, sweet pea. Don't worry. Don't be afraid. We're going home."
