Me and You
"So, did you have a nice date with him?" Dyma said, arms closed, his muscles were defined in his amrs.
The cold stare in his eyes sents shiver down my body. I didn't realize that I was actually holding my breath for a while.
He walked to my direction, I stood still and waited for him to reach me but it didn't happened. Instead, he walked past me like I'm in some kind of invisibility cloak.
Nakatingin ako sa kawalan habang patuloy na nagpi-play ang itsura niya sa aking isip. His angry cold eyes, dark angled brows and pointed nose, he was the most dangerously handsome person I have ever laid eyes on.
Hindi kona namalayan kung ilang oras akong nakatayo lang doon hanggang sa pumasok sa kokote kona kailangan ko ng umuwi. I grabbed my bag and closed the door.
Ang mga empleyado ay nagsisiuwian nadin ngunit may iba paring natitira dahil sa trabaho.
Nang makarating ako sa bahay ay automatic na bumagsak ang katawan ko sa kama. Never minding the sadness, Dyma and my make up still on. I was drowned into a dreamless sleep.
The next day, I was flooded by more request for appointment through e-mails. At iilan lamang ang pinapaunlakan niya.
"Sir, how about J & E Inc..." I asked.
"Oh, that... I heard their CEO was a very hot chic. Sure, I can settle an appointment with them." He said, a flash of a malicious smile on his face.
I rolled eyes and started browsing for more. Habang nagbabasa ay hindi ko maiwasang mapatingin sa pintuan, hoping that someone will come. Because the more I think about last night, the more I think it was a dream.
"Issa, are you hoping for someone? Kanina kopa napapansin ang pagtingin mo sa pinto." Givanne said and darted his eyes on me.
"H-Huh? S-Sir, wala po! Baka namamalikmata lang kayo..." I lied.
"Hmmm..." he said and then we both looked at the door when it opened.
A chinky eyed, just right nose and brushed up hair, Baltimore emerged from the door. He was holding a donut with a espresso and strawberry milkshake.
"Good morning, Mr. Black, coffee for you..." he said and gave a cup of coffee to Givanne, he faced me and his smile gets bigger.
"Strawberry milkshake for the beautiful Ms. Lieberg." He said and put the milkshake on my desk.
"Thanks..." I said and smiled at him.
My grudge on him seems to lower big time. It just feels comforting to have a merly stranger comforted me when I missed... her. Hindi siya gaanong nagsalita, the thing I wanted.
"Donut?" He said and showed me a box of Dunkin' Donut.
"Maybe later." I said and drinked on my milkshake.
"Okay... Oh, right... Is your allergy alright? You know, in your neck yesterday, it was so red!" He said and showed his own neck and pointed it whole.
"Okay naman na siya. Tignan mopa..." natatawa kong sabi at itiningala ang konti ang ulo para makita niya ng maayos.
He went near me and checked my neck and nape. Habang tinitignan ang gilid ng ulo ko ay pinindot niya ito.
"Banda dito, oh! Namumula pa, aish! I hate myself, this is my fault." He said.
"Nu kaba! Di mo kasalanan na hindi mo alam na-"
The door opened and revealed the man that was invading my mind since last night. Agad kong inilayo ang sarili kay Baltimore na nagulat sa ginawa ko.
"What are you doing? Continue. I'm here for my brother." Malamig na sabi niya.
"Since when did you willingly visited my, my brother?" Agad na tugon ni Givanne.
"Since I happen to witness something disgusting today, right here and yesterday too." He said like he was merely telling the things he did yesterday.
"Oh, the sight you are pertaining to, I believe was quite... enjoyable, yes." Givanne said and smirked.
Hindi na sumagot pa si Dyma. I resumed my work but couldn't concentrate well because of Baltimore, who was sitting beside me. He had obtained a swivel chair and was rolling beside me while watching me work.
"Hey, Bella, listen to this..." Baltimore said and put the earphone on my ear.
I jumped on my feet when I heared a loud bass on the earphone. I gritted my teeth at him.
"What the hell, I'm working!" I hissed and slapped his arm.
He was laughing silently.
"Ehem..." Givanne cleared his throat.
I looked at him, he was looking at Baltimore, who was attentive at what he has to say.
"I believed we settled our appointment next next week, right, Mr. Sandiego? But, I do not want to offend you, but why are you here?" He asked and smiled.
Baltimore cleared his throat, too. "I was visiting Bella."
A snort came out of Dyma like it was the most funniest joke he heard but surpressing it.
I rolled my eyes on the man sitting in the couch in his khaki shorts and v neck shirt and stormed out of the room. Dali-dali akong nagpunta sa CR at naghilamos ng mukha.
I don't know why I'm acting like this but fuck, I am really really pissed right now.
Nagpalipas ako ng inis sa CR at nang umayos na ay lumabas na. Ngunit sana ay hindi na muna ako lumabas dahil nakita ko ang taong kinaiinisan ko.
I stand straight and gathered all my energy to make my feet move. I succeeded but only to be flown back again by his hand on my wrist.
"Ano ba!" Ako sabay waksi ng kamay.
Ngunit wala iyong talab dahil sa lakas ng kanyang kamay.
Nakatingin lang siya sa akin habang pilit kong inaalis ang nakahawak niyang kamay sa aking palapulsuhan. Halos makalmot kona ang sarili ko at siya ngunit wala akong pake dahil sobrang naiinis ako. Naiinis ako sa di malamang dahilan.
"Stop. You're hurting yourself... and me." Malambing niyang sabi. Tila ba'y iba ang pinapakahulugan.
"I-I don't care. Let me go..." sagot ko at patuloy na inaalis sa kaniyang hawak.
Wala itong talab sa kaniya at wala akong nagawa kundi ang tumigil at harapin ang nakakalunod ng mga mata.
"What do you want?" Buo ang pagkakasabi ko ng mga katagang ito. And I'm so proud of myself for that.
"You... I want you and me, only me." He said and pulled me in that my head was on his chest. He snaked his free hands on my waist while holding my wrist.
Ipinadausdos niya ito at ipinagdikit ang aming mga kamay. He entered it like it was made for him.
He buried his head on my neck and sniffed it.
"Let's date, baby."
