Luke's POV

"LUKE!"

I heard a sudden scream from the bathroom, who the hell would be awake screaming their ass off in the kitchen at 5am on a Sunday? Well, a very grumpy roomate of mine called Michael apparently.

"WHAT!" I yelled back, but much much louder than Michael.

I waited for his reply but there was none. I kept waiting and waiting until I heard someone's footsteps getting closer to my door. I counted in my head, and like magic the door suddenly opened to reveal a red faced Michael. "Lucas Hemmings. Do you understand what the hell you've done?" He screeches and points to his hair. And that was when I finally noticed that his hair had turned curly and it was the same colour as his socks.

Rainbow.

My shoulders started shaking and my body was shaking from laughter.

"Oh my GOD HAHAHAHA!"

At this point I was literally rolling on my bed, clutching my stomach laughing. I remembered how Michael had told me once that he would never ever want to have curly hair, and I just took that to advantage. I told him to put curlers in his hair because then it'd stand up like mine, and stupidly he actually believed me. I didn't tell Michael any recipes to making a rainbow out of his hair, so I had no idea how he'd gotten that.

"Michael you look like a Harry Styles who accidentally ate a rainbow." I grinned.

He shot me a glare and sighed impatiently, "I'll get you back for this." Michael slowly shook his head and rested his arm against the door frame. "Sure hun." I replied, "How 'bout I get you that muffin you always crave in the mornings but can never be bothered to get? It's the least I can do right?"

Michael instantly perked up, and I swore his eyes twinkled with happiness.

"Yes, yes, yes. Oh God yes."

Michael thanked me and went back to the bathroom, probably to fix the mess on his head. I grabbed my beanie and headed out to find Michael's beloved blueberry muffin.

Amanda's POV

The morning breeze hit my right in the face and I shivered slightly and wrapped my coat around me tighter for warmth. I walked at a quicker pace to my destination, hoping that Liam had the heaters on in the cafe. I could really use a coffee and probably one of those delicious blueberry muffins they make right now. As I turned to a new street, I see the place where I needed to head to, and although it looks a bit run-down and old, the sign is impossible to miss.

"Welcome to Rubin's!" A warm and cheerful voice addressed me as I walk through the wide double doors of Rubin's, a beautiful and calming cafe that I almost always sit and chill at. "Oh, it's just you Manda." The voice suddenly dropped from happy to bored. I looked up with one eyebrow raised, "Good morning to you to Liam." My friend, Liam, was always joking around, and teasing me. But that's what I've always liked about him. Right now Liam was looking at me with amusement in his eyes, so what he'd said earlier was clearly a joke.

"Got any of them muffins lying around?" I asked as I hopped onto a wooden stool painted red. "I could also use a nice cup of coffee too." I popped down the money on the counter as Liam went to make my coffee. "No worries A, it's on the house." Liam winked at me and smiled, "You're a daily customer, I'm suprised they don't hand out those cards that give you free coffee if you're a daily member anymore." I laughed, "Thanks, Li."

As he got busy adding the milk into the mug, I found myself a place to sit right next to a window by myself, that sort of describes me as a person. Lonely, quiet, shy, independent and anti-social. I've only had one friend back at my old school, and his name is Calum. We were both considered the 'brains' of the school, but I'd also like to think I'm quite funny as well.

As i stare out the window, I noticed a faint reflection of myself. I wouldn't consider myself to be gorgeous, but I don't think I'm horribly ugly either.

I have big, wide eyes along with full lips, and I have an alright body. That's literally the only things I like about my looks. My nose is too squishy and small, and instead of having a big slope like some people do, i have a little bunny slope.

The dull brown hair of mine that I'd like to call chocolate to make it sound better is curly. Most of the time i leave it in a ponytail, because honestly its a disgrace. But what can i do? Blame it on mum.

My thoughts were broken apart as a familiar face looked into the cafe window and stared right at me. Holy. Shit. No way.

It's him.
