Amanda's POV

Luke bringing cookies? That was unusual. Did he even bake them? Oh no, I just said that out loud. Again.

"Yes Amanda, I baked them. Don't judge me." Luke smiled and raised an eyebrow. So baking was his hidden talent, hmm..

I walked back to the kitchen and grabbed cans of beer from the fridge.

"Well, Luke Hemmings. I can make beer appear. That's more skillful than baking cookies, mate." I teased. I didn't even know this part of me existed.

Luke and Taylah looked suprised that I had beers in my fridge, and cans and cans of them in fact.

"What? Don't look at me like that. I like to prepare for special occasions. Like when dickheads come into my room with cookies." I shot Luke a look.

There was a weird shuffling sound and suddenly, a Harry Styles who ate a rainbow bursted through the door. "Heyyyy! Michael's here, let's get this party started!" In Michael's hand was a carton of chocolate milk, but as soon as he saw the beers on the table, he pouted. "Mikey's too young to drink alcohol. Mikey gotta have chocolate milk." I laughed at his immature behavior. "Alright Michael. But don't beg for any when we're gulping them down one by one." I winked at him.

"Whoa, Amanda. Do you do this every night?" Luke's tone in his voice was worried. Like he would care if I overdosed.

"No Luke, I don't. I already told you, it's saved for special occasions when a dickhead comes into my room with cookies. Don't you ever listen?"

That shut him up.

----

"HAHA- Mike you're sooo funny." Taylah's words were slurred as she layed on Michael's hair while he played with her hair. "Tell me your secrets to getting rainbow hair.." She poked his nose and he poked hers back. "Alright, but don't tell anyone because you're the first person I'm gonna ever tell!" Michael's face was red from the amount of alcohol he consumed, they were both drunk as hell.

But then again, I can't talk. I'm so drunk that I have Luke cuddling up with me. He was touching my hair and it felt so nice, each stroke reminded me of our old times. He was being so careful with me. I felt my eyelids begin to drop.

"Sweetheart, you wanna go to sleep now?" Luke's calming voice whispered in my ear. I nodded and I remembered him carrying me off to my bed and me squeezing his muscles and him scowling at me. He placed me down gently on the bed and covered me with blankets. He started to walk out the door.

"Lukey, stay with me. I wanna wake up next you, like how we used to, remeber baby?" I recall myself smiling and pulling him to me.

"No babe, I can't," The lust was burning in his eyes, "as much as I want to, Manda. I can't. You'll get mad at me in the morning, and I think we might be getting closer to being friends now, instead of enemies. I don't want to risk this.." Every word Luke said was getting slower and quieter, as if he didn't want it to end.

"Please Luke, I need you."

And that was all it took as Luke Hemmings climbed onto bed with me. All night we did nothing but talk, and I fell asleep in his arms. A place where I felt safe and secure, and in that moment, I felt invincible.
