I rushed into the first room that I came across in the hospital with Elysia, and hoped that it was Luke's.

But it was Taylah's hospital bed.

Her pretty brown eyes were alive again as they sparkled when we walked in.

"Oh my God, Taylah, a-are you okay?" I immediately ran over to Taylah and felt the tears well up again.

"Obviously she's not, Mandy. She got shot in the hip and now she's lying on a hospital bed with other people's blood on the sheets." Elysia said, rolling her eyes.

I was just going to pretend she wasn't being a smartass right now.

"I'm fine, I guess." Taylah shrugged, "Every part of my body hurts, but mostly my hip. Niall was...unbelievable. I'm so sorry, Manda." She tried to sit up, but her hip was hurting too much.

I winced, "Luke got shot." I told her, as tears fell down my cheeks once again, "He stood in front of me when Niall tried to shoot me and the bullet hit Luke instead."

I slumped down against the chair, and sobbed, while Elysia stood there looking sad and helpless and Taylah was biting her lip, trying not to cry.

"Oh shit." Taylah muttered under her breath, "That's so wrong, I-I'm so sorry, Mandy, you don't deserve this."

"If he dies, my heart dies with him." My head was hurting from the amount of pressure I was going through, "I can't live without him,"

Taylah grimaced, and tried to stand up again, she looked over at Elysia for help, and she helped Taylah up.

"C'mere, Mandy," She held me in a tight hug, as if to show me that she'd always be here. "I think you need a hug right now." She whispered in my ear, and I sobbed against her shoulders.

I almost lost my best friend today, I didn't need a death from my lover.

"He's in the first emergency room, honey." The nurse gave me a sympathetic look when I asked her where Luke's room was.

The first emergency room? Did that mean he was dying..?

I ran to the elevator and nervously stood in front of Emergency Room 1, I was too afraid to see what was inside.

With the finest bit of bravery left inside of me, I opened to door with one shaking hand.

"L-Luke?" I said quietly.

I noticed a doctor inside the room, as well as a blonde boy on a hospital bed, with his eyes closed.

"Luke! No!" I screamed and made my way as quick as I could to him, praying he was still breathing.

A large hand stopped me.

"I'm sorry," The doctor who stopped me said.

"Sorry? What? What are you sorry for? Please don't tell me he's-" I was full on shaking and my knees were weak.

"Please, let's not speak here. We can talk in my office. Come on," He pulled me away from the door, and from Luke.

"So," I said as we both sat down in his office, which was scary looking with freaky surgery posters and pamphlets of people's livers and hearts.

"So," He repeated, "first of all, you need to calm down please."

I couldn't calm down. Who the fuck did he think he was?

"How do you expect me to calm down, when the love of my life could possibly be dead? I-I'll sue you! Y-you-" I stuttered, probably looking as nervous and I felt.

"Alright. Let me put it this way," He sighed, and I felt his patience fade away bit by bit.

"There's the good news, and the bad." Dr Murray spoke loudly, and in an alarming voice.

There was good news.

Which meant that Luke was alive?!

"Which would you like to hear first?" He said, stopping my happy thoughts.

"Good." I replied, "Definetly good."

I slammed my hands down on his desk, and he took that as a sign to finally tell me.

"The good news is that, Luke's alive." I watched those words fall out of his mouth, and I jumped up without hesitation, running out the door to see my baby.

"The bad thing is that he-" Dr Murray yelled after me, but I'd already made it to Luke's room.

"Luke, baby. I love you so much, I'm so glad that-" I leaned in the peck his lips, tears fell one by one down my cheeks.

"Who the hell are you?" Luke's ever so familiar voice said coldly, as he stared at me.

"W-What? I-I..." I was speechless. This couldn't be happening.

No fucking way.

I heard Dr Murray's footsteps into the room and he finished his sentence, while panting from chasing me,

"...has Amnesia."

My heart dropped as I heard the bad news.

"No," my voice was barely a whisper.

"Luke do you remember me, baby? Forever, remember?" I cried out in frustration and pain.

I couldn't handle this anymore.

I loved him so much.

And all our love had gone to waste, what was the point of living in this world when your world forgot your existence.

Luke didn't reply, instead his ocean blue eyes stared blankly back at me.
