Amanda
My hands are tightly wrapped inside Luke's, and we are sitting down, with me admiring his effulgent ocean blue eyes. The thing I love about hanging out with Luke is that he always finds my jokes risible, and even when we're texting, he would chuck a few 'Hahaha's along the way.
I'm positioned between Luke's legs (his overly perfect legs, might I add), and he's stroking my hair in such a dainty way that I think he's afraid that I'd break.
"You're beautiful," I'm pretty sure that Luke's starry eyes are matching mine as I say to him, "How is that even fair?'
He's trying to hide his laughter, but it fails miserably.
Luke lets out a big chuckle and using his two fingers to hold my chin up, he kisses me softly on the lips, making my stomach flutter then says to me, "I think I should be saying that to you, babe, and guys aren't beautiful."
It's my turn to laugh at him now.
"Are you kidding me Lucas? Have you looked in the goddamn mirror?"
"Yes, multiple times, and everytime I look, I see a sexy lookin guy with a even sexier girlfriend."
My heart skips a few yards when he said the word 'girlfriend'. It's so unusual, seeing Luke say that word, and it's me. Me. I'm his girlfriend.
"You're too confident Luke. You've got too big of a head an ego." I stick my tongue out at him and he opens his mouth and moves forwards to me, he makes sure that my tongue goes right into his mouth, with him sucking my tongue.
"Yucky saliva." Luke comments after he removes his mouth from around my tongue.
"Yeah, I was suprised you went for that," I giggle and wiping my mouth, blushing.
Time is precious and it goes by when you're having the most fun, but it's not fun when I notice a curly haired boy named Ashton with a frown on his face.
"Ash?" I stand up from where Luke and I are sitting, then walks over a few stones to get to where Ash is standing, giving Luke a look that says 'I'll be right back'.
"Uh, hey.. What're you doing here?" Ash places his hands in his back pockets, but they hardly fit due to his curse of having huge hands.
"Just hanging out with Luke," I quickly say, "Look Ash, I'm sorry that I ran off the other day.. I just didn't feel any chemistry and I was being a big ass bitch. It's just that, I love Luke, and it took me a while to understand, but I know it for sure now, so thank you for giving me a chance. I hope..I hope that we can still be friends?" Ash is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life, and I'd love to keep him here for a few more years.
Before he can even open his mouth and answer, a slightly high pitched and small voice calls out from behind him, "Ashton?!"
She comes out from behind him, and shoots me a smile. "Who's this Ash?"
This girl has a sweet smile, meaning that her smile is genuine and friendly.
Her eyes are a darker shade of brown and her hair is the darkest of dark brown and kind of wavy. The pair of orbs on her face stands out from the rest of her features because they are big, and her lashes are nicely curled and coated with mascara. Although she is sort of the same height as me (small), Ash's height (tall) and hers seem to balance one another out and they look adorable together.
"This is my friend, Manda. Well, Amanda." He grins at me, and I guess he forgives me for my bitch rage the other day.
"Hey, Manda. I'm Vivian. You can call me Viv if you want." She comes up to me and takes me in for a bear hug, it was unexpected, but I've only met her a few seconds ago and I already feel like she's going to be a close friend soon.
"So..are you two dating?" I wiggle my eyebrows, which they probably saw as retarded, then started to make kissy faces at them.
They both turn red and look away, then at each other, smiling like idiots in love.
"Wow, I'll take that as a yes?" I smile, because they are honestly so cute.
"Yeah," Ash finally speaks up, his cheeks still red, "We've gotta get back to my house, uh, I'll catch you later, Mandy." He comes up to me then awkwardly hugs me, and Viv didn't seem to mind.
Instead, she walks up towards me as well, then hugs me again, whispering in my ear,
"Your boyfriend's cute. He keeps eyeing you. He's a keeper, Manda." Then she winks at me then joins Ashton as they walk through the daisy fields together hand in hand.
I stand there, smiling to myself, then finally run back to where Luke is sitting.
"What was that about?" He looks at me, concerned.
"Nothing, just had to sort something out with Ash." I reply, taking my original seat next to him.
I feel Luke stiffen as the word Ash fall out from my lips.
"I also met his girlfriend Vivian. She's so carefree and friendly. They're cute together."
Luke seems to relax as I tell him about Viv,
"I bet she's not as hot as you," He says, then kisses me on the nose.
"Luke!" I was offended, for Vivian. "You can't just say that! She's very pretty."
"Calm down, Mandy, you barely know this girl. I was just joking, babe. She looks pretty from what I could see, but no one's as gorgeous as you." He squeezes me hands then pulls me up,
"Let's get back, yeah?" Even though I would like to stay here with Luke forever, we both have school tomorrow and it'll be a pain in the ass to get up next morning, if we stay out late, so I nod and follow him.
------
"Luke, I had a really good time tonight," It feels weird, having to say goodbye to Luke when his room is right opposite to mine.
"Me too, Mandy. You're...you're pretty cool I guess." He shyly admits.
"Gee, thanks." I roll my eyes and wriggle out of his grip on my hand, pretending to be offended and going back to my room.
"No, wait, Manda. I-I meant to say-" Before he can finish whatever hell he was saying, I place my two hands at the back of his head and pull him in, reeling him onto my lips. And finally, our lips crash and collide together, making up colourful explosions and fireworks I didn't know existed from one kiss. I've waited long enough for this kiss tonight, I thought, as I pull his head closer to me, and his lips are firmly and passionately attached on mine.
"I meant to say," Luke pants then looks me in the eye, giving me shivers from head to toe as he leans closer, "I meant to say.." He repeats, and I wait for the amazing declaration of love that he was pausing dramatically for, and my eyes flutter slowly, feeling the love already.
"..that your shoelaces are undone." He smirks, and my heart suddenly drops in disappointment.
"Goodnight, Mandy." He yells from inside of his room.
"I hate you, asshole." I shout from my own room.
"Love you too, baby." I can sense the smile in his voice, and I can't help but smile along too.
