Chapter 05- The one with the visitor

I try not to be bothered by the fact that my two best friends had been balanatly ignoring me. Sure, I started it but they sure as hell seemed fine without having me around. Aiden was quite and so was the class. My eyes were fluttering shut ever so slightly in between and it was really hard to pretend to care after a while. "MISS LEVIANE?" The voice calls and I jolt awake. As usual a few laugh at his but what's jolted me at wake is knowing that my professor had called me.

"Y-yes?" I stutter and stand up abruptly. "There is someone who wants to meet you in the office." My professor says and I shake my head. No way. No one came to meet me. I'd know it was my family because they'd call me and text me over a thousand times until the message was clear. "I think you're mistaken-" I begin but my professor doesn't seem to be interested. "There's a Ford here to see you? Kevin Ford? Please hurry, Miss Leviane. You are keeping me from continuing class." I nod at this and pick up all my stuff.

I let myself take a glance at Nanc and Reggie who are both staring at me with confusion. I see Aiden's face and he looks....angry? But he is always kind of angry. I shrug and walk to the office. Who could Kevin Ford possibly be? Ford? Kevin? Who was this mystery person? I enter the office room to a shabby blond hair and beautiful eyes. Kevin! Zueez Kevin! The newbie in the ring! He gives me a full smile and a smile makes it way to mine. "Hey, I am Kevin Ford." He says and I nod while taking his hand. Is he younger than me?

"I'm Cara Leviane." I say and his eyes twinkle at my response. He guides me outside the office after eyeing the receptionist. Little does he know that no one really cares. "I know it may seem creepy that I am here but I really wanted to thank you for what you had done." He says and I give a small smile. Boy, little does he know that I gave Kevin all the money that Reggie had bet on Mr Grumpy in class. "It's okay. You don't have to-" I am interrupted by a frantic and nervous looking Kevin. "I know it's creepy that I am here. Trust me I didn't really stalk you but I had to thank you." As the words leave his mouth I start to question, how did he find me?

"No one bothered to hell me and sure; I'm not in the best position right now." He says while gesturing his bruises and his limp side. I shudder at it and this makes him laugh. "The guys that I had come with had left me all alone to rot in my own blood and you didn't even know me but you helped." He says. I feel bad for the beautiful blond guy walking beside me. His friends had just left him after all that he had been through? I need to stop my little fight with Nancy and Reggie. "I really couldn't just leave you like that. I hate how your condition had become." I say and a genuine smile lights up his face. "How are you feeling now?" I ask and he shrugs. Atleast he tries to shrug. "Painful actually but I am healing." He says and I nod. Then my eyes widen. "Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital getting your rest? Why aren't you there?" I ask with worry and he shakes his head with the slightest of amusement creeping in his eyes. 

"I left the hospital because I didn't want to be there. It is a depressing place and I did want to meet the person who had saved me." He says and I shake my head. "You haven't fully healed. Actually, you have barely healed." I say while looking at the guy up and down. "You could've just asked the medics for my information and you could've just called me. I would've been there." I say and he shrugs. "That's how I am here." He says and I nod with realization. So he isn't a creepy stalker after all. "I know I am in extreme debt to you for what you have done and there is nothing that could possibly make it up to you for what you have done for me but-" the rest of his words are muffled because of the darn bell.

"What?" I ask as I see people rush out of the classes. That means it's home time! Reggie and Nancy run out the door to meet me standing there with Kevin. Nancy winks at me while pointing at him and pretending to fight Reggie. They know I've forgiven them. They somehow just know. I see Aiden eye us from his lockers. "Cara?" Kevin repeats and I bring my attention back to him. "I am so sorry." I say and he frowns. "So is that a no?" My eyebrow shoots up in confusion. "What?" He shakes his head and repeats himself, "Do you want to go grab something to eat? Your classes are over?" He says and I consider the offer. "I'll go let my friends know." I say and he nods. Before I can move his hand shoots for my wrist and pulls me back in place. "Wait, so is that a yes or a no?" He asks with nervousness impaling him. I laugh at his unease.
