We had a few drinks and then decided to head to my sister's chill out spot. D HORNS illuminated the dark alley and I shoved my fists into the pockets of the jacket. "Leggo!" Dennis says while pumping his fists.

I hadn't come back after the first time and the smell of cologne, sweet and blood lingered in the air. I wasn't much of a fan but I shook it away. "Any of the good fighters up today?" Del asks and Dennis shrugs. We walk together to the ring and see Rodez throw a punch at another guy. "Damn, it's Rodez today so you can definitely expect somethin' good." Dennis says and all of us watch the fight. The fight had started before we had come but the guy fighting Rodez wasn't a weak shot.

"You want something to eat?" I ask Del and she shrugs. "I was thinking of getting some fries. I'll go get it from the stand." I say and she nods before gripping my wrist. "Do you want me to come with you?" She asks and I shake my head and give her a smile to reassure her. "Okay then. Make sure you don't speak to anyone in here. They are all shady people." She says and I nod. It was funny how Delivigne was acting like a big sister with me bt I made sure not to give it away.

I head to the direction of the stand and see a crowd huddled over there. The stand wasn't so far from the ring so I could still hear when the crowd would boo or scream out one of the boxers' names.

"Stand in a damn line, you mother fuckers or none of you are getting the damn food." A huge man in an apron screams. Everyone quickly shuffles into a line and I'm suddenly in the back. I groan softly. I take out my phone to keep me company and wait for it to switch back on. I don't lift my head to make eye contact with anyone because my sister was right about this place being extra shady.

"Cara?" A husky voice calls and my head snaps to the direction, almost in fear. "Aiden?" I say softly and he yanks me by the arm. "JAX." He says firmly and I nod as his grip on my arm tightens. I try to free my arm but he doesn't let go. "Why are you here?" He asks and I shrug, "I could ask you the same thing." I say and his face turns into a deeper scowl.

I miss when he smiled. The Jax version of him was too scary for my liking. "Don't be sassy with me, girl." He says and I flinch at how harsh he is. "I came with urm-" I try to find words. "So you are here with somebody?" He asks and I nod. I didn't want to tell him about my sister. I didn't want Reggie and Nancy to find me. "Reggie and Nancy have been searching for you." He says and his eyes are focused right at me. I clench my jaw and straighten myself. "I know." I say and he raises his eyebrow. "And you are here at D Horns for what?" He asks and I give him a bitch face.

"I can be wherever I want whenever I want." I say and yank my arm free. His grip on my arm had loosened but damn did it hurt. I decide I don't want the fries and start to walk away. I feel a grip on my wrist. It's Jax. He pulls me with him and I try resisting. "What do you want from the stand? You did come here for something didn't you?" He asks softly and I have to blink to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

All these mood swings were hard to keep up with. Bitch please, you have major issues as well.

I sigh, "Fries but the line is really long so I think I'll head back." I say and he shakes his head. "The guy in the stand is a friend." He says and walks over the guy. The guy instantly notices Jax and gives a smirk. "What can I do for you, man?" He asks and Jax orders a larger fries and a coke. When I'm about to pay, the guy shakes his head. "No no, Jax's girlfriend will never have to pay."
