"What happened to your ear?" M'gann's voice cried as she flew over to Cyra, who was currently sitting on the island in the kitchen with Artemis and Robin.
That was the third time Cyra heard that. First, when Artemis walked in and then Robin walked in and practically interrogated her on it. Cyra wasn't aware that everyone had such a relationship with her ear.
Cyra looked up as the Martian looked Cyra's hair to look at the spot where her ear once was. There was just a vacant spot there but was now much cleaner looking than the bloody whole that was there last week.
Cyra moved her head away from M'gann's hands as she shot her a grin. "I was shot at."
"Oh my god, are you okay?" M'gann asked, all worried for her friend.
"I'm still here, aren't I?" Cyra smirked and tapped the left side of her head. "Can't hear very well on this side though."
"C'mon, M'gann. We have to go," Superboy said as he stood at the corner of the room with his arms crossed, but there was something different about the Boy of Steel.
"Why are you blond?"
"Why don't you have two ears?" Superboy challenged with a raised eyebrow.
Cyra looked away. "Touché."
"Where are you guys going?" Artemis asked.
"Some mission to break into a federal building," Superboy brushed us off.
M'gann looked excited as she said, "We have to pretend to be the Terror Twins and go undercover in Black Gate to see if some ice villains are planning something."
"Sounds like a blast," Artemis said as she went back to eating a bowl of cereal.
"I know right!" M'gann squealed.
"M'gann!" Superboy yelled as he was already walking away and M'gann flew after him after saying her goodbyes.
"Bye!" Cyra called after the hurrying Martian as she turned back to Robin and Artemis with a smirk. "I bet they'll be together after they get back."
"I don't think it's safe to bet against that," Robin said as he went back to looking through the fridge.
Artemis thought about it for a second before the archer nodded her head. "I'll take it."
The two green-clad heroes shook hands.
"What are we betting?" Cyra asked as she pulled back her hand.
"Umm," Artemis thought and Robin turned and whispered into her ear something, causing Artemis to grow a wolfish grin that unnerved Cyra a little. "You have to ask Wally out on a date."
A look of disgust came onto Cyra's face as she asked, "Why that?"
Artemis and Robin shared a look, which made Cyra angry. It was as if they knew something they weren't telling her. Artemis just shrugged. "Does it matter? You think you're going to win, right?"
Cyra thought about it for a second before hesitantly nodding her head. Cyra moved to whisper in Artemis' ear about her side of the bet. Artemis shook her head for a second, but Cyra's challenging grin made her reluctantly agree.
"Then I guess we have a bet," Cyra sat back in her chair with her arms crossed smugly.
"B-03, Kid Flash," The female voice that reminded Cyra of Artemis rang through the Cave, signaling the entrance of a certain speedster.
