Chapter 24: Making Up

Third person POV. Chanyeol was sitting on one end of the couch and D.O. on the other. They had their heads down in front of Suho, who was standing between them with very upset eyes and an exaspperated face. Xiumin and Chen were huddled on one bean bag on the side, Baekhyun was passed out on Kai's shoulder on another bean bag and Sehun leaned against the living room frame. 

"So, you guys caused quite a scene in the club last night," Suho asserted dryly. "I am very ashamed of your unprofessional and violent behaviour, especially in front of other groups." Chanyeol sighed and D.O. rolled his eyes. "You still haven't apologized to each other, so start by doing that, then you can both lay everything you have to say on the table."

None of the two boys spoke. Suho and the other members waited, sensing some tension grow in the room.

"You shouldn't have kissed her..." Kyungsoo mumbled, but loud enough for the other members to hear.

"Mwo?!?" They all shouted in unison.

"Chanyeol kissed ______?!?" Kai and Sehun howled, waking Baekhyun up.

"What.... How and... Why?" wondered Xiumin and Chen.

"So that was the cause of all that commotion?..." Suho realized, he himself not having seen what happened for his children to fight in the first place.

"Yeah, we locked lips, but we were both kinda drunk, and well... I did it because I like her..." Chanyeol admitted, blood rushing to his bruised cheeks and tainting them in a bright shade of red.

His comment made D.O. even more irritated. "Yah, Chanyeol-hyung, just because you're drunk it doesn't give you the permission to take advantage of a girl like that."

Chanyeol's face dropped and his eyebrows curved into a large frown. He turned around abruptly and faced D.O. with fire in his eyes.

"You want to have that conversation again, huh Kyungsoo?! You want to talk about that again?!?" he yelled.

"Damn it, you two need to get a hold of yourselves!" the leader interviened. "You both like _____, is that it? And you're fighting because Chanyeol made a move on her first? Is this some middle school bullshit happening or what?" D.O. and Chanyeol faced him and started to feel bad. "Are you guys 5 years old? Can't you just talk to each other and fix things like grown ups instead of punching each other for who liked who first?!"

Once again, silence and awkwardness reigned in the room. The other members felt uneasy and stared at each other. Suddenly Sehun cleared his throat, making all eyes turn to him.

"M-mwo?..." he stuttered. "Why are you all looking at me like I have something to hide?"

"Well since you're looking all guilty and fidgetting around, do you have anything you're hiding?" Suho asked, questioning the maknae with furrowed eyes.

D.O. flashed him a classic Satansoo look, but this time one that begged  him not to say anything. Sehun crossed his eyesight, and hesitated wether to spill the beans or not.

"Uhh... Well, i-it's all my fault, I'd s-say..." His comment was followed by six guys emitting question marks with their voices and glancing at each other with confused looks. "What I mean is that, uhh, D.O.-hyung told me he had a crush on _____ since day one, but uhh, I told him to ignore her..."

D.O.'s eyes softened and he layed back on the sofa while Sehun nervously scratched the back of his neck and looked down at his feet. Chanyeol shifted on his spot and stood up.

"That's why he's been mean and cold to her?..." Chanyeol asked as he walked to Sehun, who nodded his head.

"Why didn't we know about any of this either?" Baekhyun blurted from his seat, "I'm the love doctor, aren't I? I have the right to know about things related to love that happens around here." The singer sulked and crossed his arms.

"Well I guess he didn't trust you enough, Baek," Xiumin laughed.

"But don't you all realize this is some crazy K-drama shit happening right here?" Everyone burst out laughing, which lightened the atmosphere. Baekhyun patted himself on the back and felt proud of his call. "I mean, a love triangle between two guys and a girl, they fight for her, and all that? Pretty classic isn't it?"

The other members chuckled some more. Chanyeol turned back around and walked towards D.O., who stood up to meet him.

"Yah, I'm really sorry, dongsaeng-ah," the tall member said as the shorter one opened his arms to hug him.

"It's fine hyung. I should have just taken the situation in my own hands and admitted my feelings to all of you, and to ______. I was foolish... And confused. I'm sorry for having been clueless and for causing all this trouble," Kyungsoo confessed, sounding regretful. He took a step back from Chanyeol and giggled. "Im really sorry for lashing out last night and punching you square in the face."

Chanyeol shrugged and laughed too. "You need to teach me how to punch, hahaha. And yeah, it's fine I forgive you. At least you kinda literally fought for the one you love."

They hugged it out for another minute and the six other EXO members clapped. Suho came up to them and placed his arms around their shoulders.

"Well, we can definitely conclude that we all must improve on our communication, and to not keep feelings for ourselves," he spoke.

"Yeah, bros before hoes, am I right?" Kai retorked and he and Baekhyun high-fived each other.

"I love you wifeu," Xiumin said to Chen, who nuzzled his head in Xuimin's neck.

Chanyeol and D.O. parted from their hug. "So, what now?" D.O. questioned.

"Well, I guess I'll stay away from _____ from now on..." Chanyeol admitted painfully, but made it seem like he was alright with it. His heart ached a little from the thought of having to back away from ______.

"Chincha (really)?" D.O. asked with wonder in his face and happiness in his tone, "thanks hyung! Omo, I need to make it up to her... I've been such an idiot to her. Will you guys help me?"

Baekhyun flung out of his bean bag, shocking Kai, and leaped to D.O. with a ridiculously wide grin plastered all over his face.

"I'll help you, D.O., the love guru's got your back and he'll help you win back your girl!" Baekhyun chanted happily.

Sehun watched his hyungs make up and suddenly remembered something.

"Guys... _____ never came back home last night..." End POV.
