Third person POV. The EXO members were grouped in the living room. Baekhyun was reading a magazine on a been bag. Chen and Xiumin were watching a movie on the couch, chips in hand. Kai was browsing through his phone, looking at dance videos. Suho was dusting the library shelves, occasionally coughing at flyaway dust. Chanyeol stood in front of the window, lost in the view of the city. Sehun entered the main door and ran to the living room, snapping everyone out of their business.
"Hyungs, jal deuleo (listen up)! I've got big news! You won't believe what I discovered today!" he exclaimed, and took a sip of his bubble tea.
"Who did you follow this time, huh?" Kai replied, going back to his phone.
"HAHA, very funny, Jongin-hyung," Sehun sarcastically expressed. "But... Yeah, it's kinda true though... LOL."
"Okay, what is it that you have to say?" Suho said as he posed the feather duster on a shelf.
"So, today I went downtown to sightsee, and of course, to go to my favorite bubble tea shops, and-..."
"YAH! I thought it was part of the deal that you brought all of us with you when you get bubble tea!" Chen yelped, interrupting Sehun. "That was part of your punishment, right?"
"Chen, shut up, don't interrupt him," Suho cut in, "but, yeah, that's true I completely forgot about that..."
"Ugh, guys, listen, dang it! It's about _____-ah!" the maknae blurted, making everyone turn to him in astonishment.
"What..." Xiumin responded, standing from the couch, "Go on, what happened?"
"So I went to get food and bubble tea, and strolled through parks, but the heat ended up giving me a headache," Sehun continued, absorbed in his own story, "So I went to a pharmacy to buy some Advil. Then I heard a guy on the other side of the aisle I was in shouting ____'s name. I obviously went to see, maybe she was there, but he was only on his phone."
The six other artists were all ears, eyes widening and jaws dropping to the floor.
"But yo, I was surprised to hear of her, I mean what were the odds, right? Then I noticed that the man was dressed in a suit, and he looked awfully familiar. Then it clicked to me that he might be the same dude ____ went off with, so I followed him to the cash register and out to his car, which turned out to be a black Mercedes!" the maknae boasted proudly, waiting for a reaction from his hyungs.
The other members were fascinated at Sehun's narrative and stared at each other in disbelief.
"So... If you heard correctly and if that is the same man, does that mean he's either ____'s lover or something like that, and that she is in Korea?..." Baekhyun wondered, dumbfounded.
"Actually, she never left the country..." Xiumin asserted after a silence that reigned for what seemed like an interminable number of seconds.
"And that man is not her boyfriend," Chanyeol uttered from behind the room shortly after Xiumin.
The other members stared back and forth at them, their faces plastered with shock and eyes shooting question marks.
"Neo neohuideul mwoya (What did you guys just say)?" they exclaimed in synchrony, with the same tone and volume, as if their response was choreographed.
