Adam's POV
Being home again felt great, but Eva didn't feel the same. She was so quiet and depressed, so different than the Eva before the trip. You know how after a trip, you are depressed but got over it after a couple of days? Well, that didn't happen with Eva. She was getting more and more depressed each day. It has been a couple of weeks and she still can't over it. I don't know what to do. I tried taking her to places that would try to make her love LA again but all she did in response was shrug and listen to her music. She doesn't even lie down with me, she slept on the couch and the pillow would be soaked sometimes because of how hard she cried. I could hear her, and I would cover my ears because of how much sorrow and misery she felt. I hurt me so much.
I decided to work extremely hard to make her smile again. Nothing. I was so frustrated and hopeless seeing her like this. Maybe she needed her family.
"Eva! Come down here at this moment please." I asked her behind her door.
"What do you want? Can you see that I want to be alone, sir?" She snapped at me. She emphasized the sir really loud.
I was going to snap back but realized that it was no use. It hurt me how much attitude she had and she was like this since we left Greece.
"Come out here. I want to take you somewhere I know for sure you will love." I told her.
"You say that every time we go out and it turns out that I don't love it as you so call say it. So no. I will not go out with you." She snapped once more.
I was done. I grabbed my keys and unlocked the door and went up to her and lifted her up. She was begging me to put her down but I ignored her requests. I took her to my car and buckled her up. She was so furious that her silent treatment rose. It was too quiet. We got to her parent's house and she froze.
"Adam, why did you take me here?" She asked with a soft voice. I haven't heard that voice in a long time.
"Just to bring you back home, officially." I said.
We went to the front door and knocked. Her mother opened the door.
"Eva! You are here!! And you brought Adam with you! Please come in." She said. As we came in, her mom hugged her so tight and kissed her cheek.
Eva smiled and started to shed a tear.
"I missed you so much, mami." She said in her yet again soft voice.
Eva's mom offered us something to drink and allowed us to sit down. Her apartment was small but it looked huge by how organized and clean it looked. It was a beautiful apartment. We started talking about our days together and about her mom. Her mom told me about Eva when she was younger and how she was obsessed with me when she first listened to my music. I blushed and Eva turned super duper red. This was the side of her that I never had a chance to meet. She was strong and yet again innocent.
Eva's mom asked something that might change Eva's mood from happy to sad again.
"So have you guys gone anywhere beautiful?" She asked.
Eva stopped and her eyes started getting wet but stopped. She opened her mouth to say something but was scared to say anything. So I told her myself.
"We both went to Greece together.." I started.
Her mother's eyes opened and was shocked.
"Really? It's so beautiful! I never thought you guys would ever think about leaving." She said.
Eva and I looked at each other.
Her mother stopped and looked at Eva.
"May I please talk to Eva alone, Adam?" Her mother asked.
I nodded and she took Eva to another room. I was alone and wondered what they were talking about. She came back minutes later with a huge grin on her face. I don't know what she said, but whatever she did, I'm glad she did it.
It was now time to head home after hours of chatting. Eva's mother was a great person to talk to, it was different because not many people are so interesting. We were heading out and Eva's mom gave me a big goodbye hug.
"Thank you for being the one to love my daughter. I wouldn't change you for any other man to love her." She confessed.
"Thank you for being the woman who raised her into the woman she is now. I wouldn't change you for any other mother to love and raise her." I replied.
She kissed me on the cheek and said goodbye. She spoke with Eva something that went like this:
Mija, cuide lo mucho porque él te valora. Él es tú amor eterno, no lo dejes ir por algo temporal. ¿Me lo prometes?
Eva nodded and kissed her on the cheek goodbye. She hugged her extremely tight and came with me into the car. We waved goodbye and left.
"What did she say to you before we left?" I asked trying to not sound nosy.
She looked at me and smiled.
"Don't worry about it. She told me something I already know." She said.
"Alright. I'm glad to have you back." I told her.
"Me too."
Eva's POV
I thought about what my mother said and I cherished every moment with Adam as I possibly could. I stopped shedding and wiping tears and replaced it with a smile and laughter. Sometimes Adam would call my mom to ask her what she said to me that made me this way. But in reality, she said nothing. She gave me this look that said why be this way? I didn't know why.
Greece symbolized so much to me, that there is beauty in life and so much to live for, I felt that I lost it all when I came back. But then I looked at her, and noticed that this right here is my life. LA has my loved ones, my memories, and my identity. I smiled at her and realized what she was trying to tell me.
Weeks passed and my happiness has not faded away. It was now March and spring finally started kicking in. Adam and I got closer and closer each day. I taught Adam how to play tennis, basketball, and other grand sports and I believe his favorite sport is Badminton. He taught me how to act and sing. I liked singing better. Especially his songs.
But he hasn't been that long with me since he was always at concerts, meetings, and other important things he had to do. He was in his second WAG Tour. He was there for many weeks and the last day was today. It was early morning and he sent me an email where he was so I wouldn't be worried about where he would be. I planned to make a surprise for him.
I called up Tommy and Ash.
"Hey guys! How are you guys?" I asked them.
"Great! But we lack your presence! The WAG tour is so amazing especially our fans. They love us so much!" Ash said.
"Yeah! I'm going to get laid soon." Tommy added.
Ash and I laughed.
"You guys are so lucky! I wish I was there to cheer you guys on! And how's Adam?" I asked.
"He's fine but he misses you a lot. We are going to be there soon since Las Vegas is our last stop." Ash said.
"Aw poor Adam. I'm glad you guys are having fun though." I said.
"Yeah but hey, I got a plan." Tommy said.
"What?" Ash and I questioned.
"What about you come over? It will be a great surprise for him! I will call a jet for you to get here quickly as possible and we will play yours and Adam's song and you will start coming in as he is singing." Tommy suggested.
We all went silent and started thinking about it.
"Yeah!! Great idea Tommy! C'mon Eva, join us!" Ash said.
"Hmmm I don't know if this will be good." I commented.
"Please! We got this. Trust in us." Ash pleaded.
"Alright. Fine. Let's do it!" I gleefully said.
"Okay team! For Adam!" Tommy and Ash said simultaneously.
"For Adam!"
