I walked into class.
When I sat down in my seat, the teacher began calling out names.
"Adrien Agreste!"
"Here!" I called out.
"Chloe Bourgeois!"
"Here."
Ugh, I really don't want to see her.
"Ivan Bruel!"
"Here!"
"Alya Cesaire, class deputy!"
"Here."
"Juleka Coffaine!"
"Here. . ."
"Marinette Dupain - Cheng, class rep!"
"Here!" Smiled Marinette.
After that, I tuned out.
I couldn't stop think about the scarf. . . Who could have possibly made it. You know what? I'm going to ask my classmates, starting from the back. I got out of my seat and took off my coat.
I walked over to the back with my scarf in hand. As I walked past Marinette, I noticed her freaking out and pointing at my scarf. Did she know anything about it? Maybe she did. That would explain her freaking out!
"Hey Alix, hey Kim." I said casually.
"Sup." They both greeted casually.
"Umm. . . I was wondering if this looks familiar to you. . ." I asked.
"Nope. I've never seen it." They both said.
Suddenly, the whole class started crowding around. Purrfect! I can ask them the same question all at once! Wait. . . Did I just make a cat pun?
Everyone walked over to me and started examining the scarf. Marinette didn't join in though. Something tells me she knows a great deal. . .I should ask her!
But we don't have any of the same lessons until last lesson! Darn it!
She also rushes home always to help her parents at the bakery. I'll never be able to ask her! And our last lesson is with Mrs. Mendeliev! She'll never let us talk!
Wait. . . Nathalie gave it to me in the first place! She must know!
As I walked back to my seat, after everyone confirmed that they know nothing of it, I noticed Marinette acting quite strange. She seemed tense.
She wouldn't give me an answer even if I begged. I intimidate her. She hates me, doesn't she?
I then saw Alya nudging Marinette and smirking at me. "Come on, Mari. . ." She whispered. "No." Said Marinette, sternly. Alya rolled her eyes at her friend. "Oh look, he heard us." She said, pointing at me. "Wha- what?!" Screamed out Marinette.
"Don't worry," I began. "I didn't hear a thing!". I really didn't. Although I wish I did.
Suddenly the bell rang and it was time to go to my next lesson. . .
"Dude, you alright?" Asked Nino.
"Yeah. I am. Why do you ask?"
"You seem nervous about something." He said.
"Hahahahahah. No." I said quickly and walked away.
