"Uh. . . Yes." Alya answered reluctantly.
"What is it?" Asked Marinette.
"Why did he stay over night?" Asked Alya.
"A-actually. . . I'm not sure. . . Why did you stay over night?" Asked Marinette, shifting the attention to me.
"Well, clearly you forgot the reason." I smirked. "You asked me to stay here last night." I said, throwing the attention back to her.
Alya glared at both of us while Marinette simply glared at me.
"W-well uh. . ." She stuttered.
Alya simply facepalmed.
"Never would I have thought of Marinette, Chat Noir and I being in this room today. And my best friend is having a super hero sleep at her place. What the heck?" Asked Alya.
"I still can't even. . ." She mumbled under her breath.
Marinette smiled in an awkward manner as she continued to stare at her best friend.
The awkward silence was killing me and I was quite sure Alya must have noticed so she started another conversation.
"So. . . What exactly happened at Adrien's place?" Asked Alya.
Nevermind. I take it back. I need the silence again.
"Well, uh, y'know. . . I went to his place yesterday and made him some tea. Turns out he wasn't ill. He had a scratch. But Ms. Nathalie told me to keep it secret from the public. . ." Marinette kept on obliviously talking as Alya squinted her eyes at my cheek.
My cheek also had a scar.
"Marinette. My apologies for interrupting you but, uh, which cheek did Adrien have his scar on?" Asked Alya, her tone of voice creating suspicion.
"Uh, why?" Asked Marinette.
"Just wanted to know." Alya shrugged.
"Well, now that you bring that up. . . I don't exactly remember." Said Marinette scratching her head thoughtfully.
Alya nodded in understanding.
Alya then looked at me again and said, "Well, I have to go. You two can continue with your. . . Day."
Marinette and I both looked at each other.
I feel like Alya figured me out. She's probably 50% sure I'm Adrien.
"Don't worry Chat Noir, I won't tell anyone." Said Alya and left before any of us could say anything.
Wonderful. She knows.
"What was that about?" Asked Marinette a few minutes after the trap door shut.
I shrugged my shoulders.
I stretched a little and then realised I couldn't stay for too long.
"Marinette. My people will be searching for me by now. I'll have to take my leave as much as I hate doing so." I said and took her hand.
I planted a kiss on the other side of her palm and she pulled away and booped my nose like Ladybug always does.
I got a bit confused by Marinette's actions but brushed it off. Probably a mere coincidence.
(DON'T GET MAD. I MADE HIM THIS OBLIVIOUS ON PURPOSE. Look at the bright side, Alya isn't dense!)
"Remember to talk to him." I stated and then leaped out of her window, heading back to the large mansion.
