We drove to the front of the school and stopped. The partition was rolled down and the Gorilla grunted. "Thank you." I said as I got out of the car.
The car left and now I was truly free to do my own thing. I walked in through the school doors to see Nino talking to Alya and Marinette. "Hey guys!" I greeted. "Hey dude." Said Nino casually as Alya simply waved. Marinette hid behind Alya, flustered. Why is she always afraid of me? Do I intimidate her?
"Hey Mari." I smiled as she looked at me from behind Alya. She suddenly squeaked as her cheeks were burning a fascinating shade of red. "She says "Hi." too." Said Alya as pinched Marinette's cheek. "Ow! Alya!" Yelled out Marinette. But then she noticed that I was still here and looked away. Why is she always so afraid to say anything in front of me? I wish I knew the Marinette everyone else did. . . I've seen her with her bravery, justice and sassy comebacks to Chloe. But I was so far away. I wish she didn't stutter in front of me. Is it because of my father? Is she afraid of saying something because of him? Probably not.
I suppose the scarf came from another country. But he wouldn't go through all that. I'll ask a few people in class if they know of this brand. I don't see why he'd get me anything other than a pen. I'm starting to doubt he even cares about me. Anyway, back to questions.
I'll ask only students. I don't think the teachers had anything to do with this.
As if on cue, the bell rang rather loudly. "We should get going." Said Alya as she dragged off Marinette beside her.
