I sighed and fell, my back facing my bed.
"How am I going to talk to her?" I asked myself.
"Well, you could start by saying 'Hi'." Said Plagg, flying back in.
"It was rhetorical." I mumbled.
The stench of the cheese filled up my room.
As I stared at my ceiling, I received a text from Alya.
Alya: I can't believe Chat Noir is a close friend of mine! I never knew this! Omgomg I still can't get over this. Do you mind doing an interview through a call?
Adrien: Uh. . . Sure. . . But make sure you don't call me by my name.
Alya: Gotcha
Adrien: Any news about Ladybug? Tbh I also wanna know who she is.
Alya: Same. But something tells me that we're closer than we think we are to her secret.
Adrien: I believe so, too! I mean, she knew all the names of our classmates. A text book from our school? Too many coincidences.
Alya: Damn. You remembered all the stuff from the Ladyblog.
Adrien: Well. . . What can I say. . . I mean, you can blame me? We fight side by side every day. In a way, I have the right to know who my partner is.
Alya: true that
Adrien: Also. . . I'd like to tell you a secret. Although I need you to keep it a secret.
Alya: Sure.
Adrien: As I began getting to know her, I may or may not have began developing feelings for her.
Alya: 😰 MARINETTE?! What about Ladybug?!?
Adrien: I realised that I didn't really know her. In a way, I was infatuated. But I really know Marinette.
Suddenly, Alya went offline and I got worried.
I began pacing around my room. I felt this really longing feeling to see her again.
It's like I couldn't be without her for even a minute. This never happened between me and Ladybug.
Like, I always looked forward to seeing Ladybug but I never really had an urge to talk to her or I felt like I was losing my sanity without her presence.
But this all matches up perfectly! I like her and she likes me! Except the only problem is. . .
Adrien rejected Marinette. Marinette believes Chat Noir is in love with Ladybug, still. Chat Noir is in love with Marinette. Marinette still loves Adrien.
Since Adrien messed up. It's time for Chat to step in!
But there's something I forgot to mention to Alya. . .
There'll always be a little peice of me that will love Ladybug.
I'm not sure how much longer that feeling will last but I'm sure it's going to take a while to shift my focus completely onto Mari.
