After getting dressed and looking picture perfect, we headed down to the buffet where Nathalie met us and went over the rules and our schedules.

"Okay, Marinette, so basically, all you're going to do today is a photoshoot with Adrien with Gabriel Agreste's new line. There's just going to be a few formal dresses for the wealthy and casual clothing for the less wealthy. Mr. Agreste doesn't usually allow models to keep the clothes they model but he made an exception, since you left so abruptly and even took the offer. So, we will allow you to keep all the outfits your try on, that is, if they are to your liking." Said Nathalie.

I looked Marinette. She seemed a bit nervous. I held her hand under the table instinctively.

She immediately turned to me, with a blush that spread like wild-fire on her face.

After realising what I had done, I put my hand away and she looked away and yanked her hand away from me.

Man, I really regret rejecting her. She was always so sweet, and to top it off, she's Ladybug.

On the way back to Paris, I'll tell her on the plane.

After Nathalie had explained what I was supposed to do, she left and allowed us to stay by ourselves.

Marinette had a bunch of waffles on her plate along with pancakes, a cup of tea with milk, a boy of cerial and bunch of toast with butter and jam. I just stared at her as she began to practically gulp down each serving.

"Jeez, Marinette, who, knew you could eat so much?" I asked her. She stopped eating, and with her mouth full, pushed the food a bit farther away from her in embarrassment.

"No, no! I didn't mean to make you uhhh embarrassed or awkward! I don't mind. It's just that if I were to eat like that, let's just say I wouldn't have been a model. But clearly you have a fast metabolism." I said, trying to make her feel better.

"Oh, well... Then I'll keep eating." She smiled and began to eat again.

At some point, a bunch of paparazzi rushed in through the doors and ran into the buffet room and began to take pictures and ask an endless amount of questions.

"Is this your new girl friend?"

"Are you two sharing a hotel room?"

"Is she a new model?"

"Where is she from?"

"When will you be returning to Paris?"

"When is the first fashion show?"

I knew that what ever we said, they'd twist the words to make it fit the reader's interest and liking. There was no point. Whether I lied the told the truth, the answer on their papers would have been the same.

"No, we are not dating. Yes, she will model for my father's magazine. Please don't twist my words." I said, in anger and annoyance.

"Come, Marinette, let's leave." I said.

{Marinette's POV}

He pulled me up from my seat and we left back to the hotel room.

"But I still hadn't finished my food!" I said with a frown.

"God, they're all so annoying!!" He said in frustration.

I just sat there, fazed. I had never seen Adrien like this. Maybe he isn't as perfect as I thought he was. Then again, at least it shows he's a human and not a robot.

As he kept on ranting about how annoying they are, I realised something.

If he was acting like his real self around me, it meant he was comfortable with me being around him.

"Adrien," I began. "A- are you comfortable around me?" I asked out of nowhere.

In spite of this weird and awkward question, he answered anyway.

"Well, yeah, I guess." He said and rubbed the back of his nape.

"I'm glad to know that." I smiled.

He raised a brow but I ignored his questioning look.

A short while later, we had snuck out with Adrien's security guards into his car through a back door.

As we were in the car, Adrien had shifted closer to me.

I wasn't sure what this meant but he kept on moving closer and closer until we were practically touching.

"Uhh, Adrien?" I asked.

He ignored my words.

Okay, then. I'll just stay the way I am...

Suddenly he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

{Adrien's POV}

She blinked once. Twice. Three times. Four.

It was only a few seconds later she had realised what I had done and she began to blush furiously.

"Adrien, what do you think you're doing?!" She asked.

I simply smiled.

"Already told you that I liked you, remember? I'm not giving up." I, said.

Whether you fall for me if I'm Chat or Adrien, I'll accept it.

But once again, I felt a pang of guilt in my heart.

"Marinette, I know you--" I was cut off by the car stopping and bunch of people from the press taking pictures with flash on.

I immediately took my arm off of her and opened the door to escort My Lady.

She thanked me as she walked out into the sidewalk.

People started crowding around her asking questions about her and I dating.

And she said...

{Marinette's POV}

Adrien said it's okay to lie to the press sometimes because your words might end up getting twisted anyway.

So I said, "As of now, we're keeping this strictly professional. There is no intimacy." I said.

Everyone stopped taking pictures and looked behind me.

They all saw Adrien mouthing the word "No" behind me.

Then I turned around and furrowed my eyebrows. He smiled sheepishly and then said, "Uhh, we've gotta go..."

I was once again, dragged off.

Once we had reached a private and safe spot, I started talking.

"What was that?" I asked him.

"Nothing. I just wanted to tell the truth." He smirked.

"We aren't in a relationship!" I said and stopped. I yankedy arm out of his grasp and stood my ground.

"Listen, Mr, I don't know what's up with you and why you're suddenly acting up but this has to stop. If you're going to ruin your image, please do it some other way, because I don't want to be tangled up in your father's anger tantrums." I said.

I really didn't want to get mixed up in his twisted family. Whenever I see Gabriel Agreste, I want to pee myself because of how intimidating he is.

Imagine if he told me Adrien and I couldn't be friends any longer because I'm ruining him.

I'm not letting that happen.

"Adrien, I'll gladly be your friend, but I'll have you know, I'm in love with someone else." I said, crossing my arms.

"I know." He said.

"Then why are you doing this?" I asked him.

{Adrien's POV}

I can't hold it in anymore.

"Because I know who you are, Ladybug!"

(PS. I'm not back but I had a bit of free time in my busy schedule)
