Asking Her Out

I walked into school and saw Marinette and Aliya talking.

I walked up to them and noticed Marinette's happy facial expression turn into a small frown.

My heart began to ache a little but I brushed it off. I wanted to talk to Marinette after school as Adrien.

Alya nudged Marinette a little and Marinette stuttered a bit.

"O-oh. Hey Adrien." She said, not making eye contact with me.

"Hey Marinette. I just wanted to talk to you after school in the Library possibly. Would you like to talk?" I asked.

She must've taken my advice from earlier and simply nodded her head.

The bell then rang.

"See you after school, then." I said.

And we all headed to class.

As I walked in, I noticed Nino missing.

Where was he?

We all sat down and the teacher began teaching the lesson.

As she was telling us to begin questions one to four, Nino burst in.

He seemed like he ran here because he was panting.

He was also slightly blushing and he did his hair.

He was also holding a bouquet of flowers and a CD.

"Nino. Finally. Just do what you need to do and then sit down." Said the teacher.

She seemed to know his intentions and gave him a reassuring smile because he was nervous.

Everyone stared in confusion.

"Alya Cesair," began Nino. "I've had feelings for you for a while now and I was wondering... Would you please accept my feelings and be my girlfriend?" Asked Nino.

I looked at Alya and she seemed like the happiest person alive.

She stood up and the tension built up because her smile disappeared.

I gulped.

She walked up to him and smiled warmly at him.

" Yes. " she said, taking the bouquet from him.

The class cheered for them both as Nino hugged Alya.

After a few moments, everyone calmed down and Alya and Nino went to their spots.

"So anyway, we'll be doing a project about the history of our Paris' two heroes. Ladybug and Chat Noir." Said the teacher.

I looked at Nino and he had a stupid grin in his face. Then I looked at Marinette who was looking the same way at Alya as I was looking at Nino.

Marinette and I were weirded out and confused whereas they both looked love struck.

Cute but a bit much.

"Chloe and Sabrina are a pair."

"Kim and Alex are a pair."

"Mylene and Ivan."

"Alya and Nino are partners."

"Marinette and Adrien are..."

And then I tuned out again.

Marinette and I are working together! I guess I don't need to meet her in the Library after all.

"This project will be due in a week so you all have time to do it and there will be no excuses." Said Mrs. Bustier.
