Nathalie knocked on my door. I mumbled a 'come in' and she entered.

I coughed multiple times before saying, "I'm so ill, Nathalie. I can't go to school today. I'm extremely exhausted.".

She gasped and I looked at where her eyes were looking at. My cheek.

"Adrien! How on Earth did you get a scar on your model face?!" She screamed.

"Uh. . . During the akuma attack, I was put in a cage like all the others and the akuma hit all of us." I uttered.

She nodded her head and left the room saying, "I'll tell your father about your. . . Situation.".

I covered my eyes with my left arm and sighed. He'll definitely cancel all of my photoshoots for the month. . . And then possibly yell at me for not being careful.

Nathalie came back in said that no one can see me with the scratch and so my father won't let me leave the mansion until my cheek gets better. I nodded my head and she said, "I'll leave you to your own devices for the rest of the day.".

She left the room, shutting the door behind her. I sighed of relief and Plagg flew out from under my pillow.

"Camembert?" He asked.

"Not yet. I want to go somewhere." I uttered and got up from my bed.

I did my morning routines and then chanted: "Plagg. Claws out!".

I transformed to Chat Noir and jumped out of my window, leaving it open.

I leaped from house to house and finally landed on Marinette's balcony. I heard her speaking to someone; presumably Alya.

"I think he knows that the scarf belongs to me!" I heard her say.

"Marinette. You're freaking out again. Stop being so anxious. He might be happy. Plus, I noticed him trying to talk to you during recess and last lesson." I heard a squeaky voice say. That's definitely not Alya.

"Oh, Tikki. I don't know. . ." I heard her sigh. Who the hell is Tikki?

"Marinette. . ." Tikki began. Then I heard her say something incoherent and the conversation stopped.

I heard some climbing and then the trap door shot open.

"Ahhh!" I yelled. "AHH!" Screamed Marinette in return.

She then fell off the ladder and landed on her butt right next to the other trapdoor on the ground.

"Marinette! Honey, are you alright?" I heard her mother ask from below.

I put my finger over my lips and she mimicked my actions.

"I- I'm fine, mom! A- a pigeon. I mean, a pigeon hit my window, that's all!" I heard her call back out.

"Oh. Okay honey. I hope that little fellow is alright, anyway, I'll be down in the bakery!" I heard her mother say and her voice faded.

Marinette sighed and glared at me. I stared at her as she gave me the 'are-you-serious?' look. I smiled sheepishly and shrugged.

She climbed back up and then said, "So. . . What do you want, cat?"
