"Looks like she's not going to get better any time soon." Said Sabine, walking down the stairs.

Tom and I sighed.

"I know, boys. But we'll have lunch and then Adrien, you'll have to go home or something since she's not feeling so well and you two can't work on the project." Said Sabine, with a small frown.

"That's okay, I guess." I mumbled.

As we finished lunch, I saw the storm. It was on its way and it was progressing fast.

Soon after, I heard the pitter-patter of raindrops on the windows and the clouds were closing in.

This was going to last a while.

I tried calling Nathalie but there was no service. Just Wi-Fi. So I texted Nathalie instead but she didn't reply.

"Uh..." I started.

"Let me guess. Nathalie isn't receiving your messages." Said Sabine.

"Yep..."

"It's fine. You can sleep here. We have a guest Toothbrush and you can wear Tom's Pyjamas." Said Sabine.

I smiled at her and Tom.

"I've... I've never experienced this sort of kindess..." I said as tears began to brim at at the edge of my eyes.

They both hugged me.

"Anyone who is Marinette's friend is family to us and you're welcome here all you want. Come over any time." Said Tom.

After a while they gave me all the stuff and went to bed. I sat in the dark, on their couch and heard some shuffling upstairs.

I suddenly heard the trap door open and heard footsteps descending the stairs.

"Adrien...?" She croaked out.

"Uh... Yes?" I whispered.

"What're you doing here?" She asked.

"It began to rain. Actually it's still raining." I pointed out the window.

She looked too but when I looked at her, she looked so exhausted.

I noticed she was beginning to fall over a little and so I got up and right before she fell over, I caught her.

I could see we were both blushing because my arms were wrapped around her waist and our faces were only a few inches apart.

Suddenly, I noticed her eyes were beginning to close and she fell asleep again.

I put her on the couch and got her an extra blanket.

I took one of the pillows off of the couch and a thin blanket and slept on their floor.

I think I'm falling for her even harder than before.

Not long after that thought got into my head, I must've fallen asleep because that's the last thing I remember.

I woke up to nearly clear skies and and a huge rainbow.

I woke up Marinette to take a look. Even if she was sick, I didn't want her to miss it.

She stared in awe. Then she grabbed my hand and pulled me up to her trapdoor.

She opened it and we stared at the rainbow together.

She still hadn't let go of my hand. And I didn't want her to, either.

We stayed like that for three whole minutes.

But just as soon as the three minutes were up, she looked down and gasped.

"Adrien, look," she let go of my hand "it's flooded!"

I looked down too. Oh, no.

Suddenly, Nathalie called me.

I picked up my phone and Nathalie greeted me in a hurry.

"Adrien, where are you?"

"I'm at a friend's house. Why?"

"Well... I wanted to tell you earlier but the storm cut off the the service. Your father, your driver and I have gone to Italy. We'll be back in a week. Can you stay at your friend's house or something? I mean, unless you'd like to go home and be alone."

"I don't know. I'll figure this out later."

"Well, either way, you've got the keys to the mansion and your father has left €5, 000. That should keep you alive for a week."

"Definitely. Thanks Nathalie."

Then we said our goodbyes and she hung up.

"Um... Marinette..."I began. "I may need a place to stay for a week... My father and majority of the staff is in Italy." I mumbled.

"Sure. I'll tell my parents." She said and went downstairs.

When she was gone, Plagg flew out.

"My cheese. What's going to happen to my cheese?" He asked.

"Ill transform soon and then I'll get the money and your cheese. Calm down." I rolled my eyes.

Not too later, Nino called me and he was so happy.

"Adrien! Dude! School is cancelled for three days cause earlier at school there was an accident at the lab and they left the windows open to let the remains out and the whole school is covered in water. And so are the roads, so..." Nino trailed off.

"I'm stayed at Marinette's for a week..." I mumbled.

"Dude. You're moving in with her? Making moves on her, I see."

I could imagine the smirk on his face.

"No I'm not. If you switch on Channel 8, you'll find out my dad is in Italy. He's in Milan, I believe." I said.

Suddenly, I heard Marinette come up the stairs and I quickly said bye and declined the call. Plagg flew into my pocket shirt, too.

"Great news!" She smiled.

I smiled back.

"They said 'yes'." She said.

"That's great! But uh... Since I'll be staying a week, I think it's best I go and get my stuff. I have the key to my house."I said.

"Sure. I'm going to go gargle now. Bye." She said and went down stairs.

I had just realised how messy her hair was. And this was the first time I've seen it loose.

And she was in Chat Noir Pyjamas.

Wait a minute...

I have Ladybug themed Pyjamas. We could be the duo!

Okay. Now I'm more excited.

But there's just one thing that keeps on bugging me.

Is this right?

I mean, this is my first sleepover. And it's with a girl.

And what Nino said hasn't made it any easier.

Wonderful. Great. Now I've awkwarded myself out.

Anyway, time to transform.

"Plagg, claws out!"
