We were both woken up by the flight attendant whole smiled at us kindly.

"Mr. Agreste and Ms. Dupain-Cheng, we've arrived." She said.

"Wh- what?" Asked Marinette.

"Yes. We're in Milan." Said the attendant.

"I didn't even feel the landing." Said Marinette, wide-eyed.

"Oh, well. You were quite ill. I let you sleep." Said the attendant.

"Thank you very much." Said Marinette and smiled.

The flight attendant nodded and then opened the door. There was a staircase that lead us down to a red carpet.

We both had messy hair and our clothes were wrinkled. Marinette also had bags under her eyes.

Uh, oh. Father is not going to like the first impression that Marinette gave to the press.

As we descended down the stairs, Marinette linked our arms to help her adjust.

There were flashing lights and camera-men and reporters speaking in all sorts of different languages and accents.

Marinette must've gotten blinded by all this sudden amount of light because she covered her eyes and as she did, she slipped but since our arms were linked, I managed to keep her up.

She awkwardly smiled at me.

As we got on the rep carpet, a woman held out her micro-phone and asked questions in Italian.

I had no clue what she was saying so I just smiled at her and kept walking, making poses for the photographers.

I looked back at Marinette and she looked exhausted.

Man, she was definitely not picture-perfect.

I walked up to her and pulled her close. We both smiled for a picture and then she blushed.

I then let go of her and took her by the hand and we ran over to the car.

I opened the door for her and she smiled at me and then got in.

I got in too and then shut the door behind me and we drove off.

As we were in the car, she looked a little shocked.

"What was all that?" She asked.

"Press." I said.

"Whoa. That's a lot. Is that what you've got to deal with?" She asked.

"Well, it's not so much the press as it is the paparazzi." I said.

"Will they be everywhere?" She asked as I shifted closer to her.

"After photoshoots and if we decide to eat, they'll most likely attempt to follow us everywhere." I said.

She frowned and said, "I don't really like them. They invade privacy."

"Agreed." I said.

The rest of the ride was filled with long and painful silence. I'm sure even our driver, Gorilla, felt the painfully awkward silence between us.

We then pulled up at the hotel.

Four Seasons Hotel.

Marinette stared, wide-eyed. Her jaw had dropped.

"I- is that what it looks like? Is this the hotel?" She asked.

"Yes, but you see, Nathalie said that many people will be staying because of the event and that we'll have to share a room. B- but, don't worry! Uhh... She said we'll have two separate beds. Two queen beds. Hehehe..." I rambled.

I saw her blush and blushed too.

Gorilla took our luggage to the lobby and then went back out to park the car.

"Oh, my! Mr. Agreste! And Ms. Uhhh Dupain?" Asked the secretary.

"Yep..." Said Marinette, pursing her lips inward in an awkward manner.

"Your room number is room number 13. The Double Queen bed suite." Said the secretary.

We walked into the room and it was rather small. When I usually go to Milan I get a bigger room but who cares? I get to share with Marinette!

After an hour we unpacked and she put her stuff in a closet and I put my in a bunch of drawers.

Nathalie then called me and told me to put her on speaker.

I did so and she began to speak to Marinette and I.

"Okay, so since Marinette is here, she will representing the company, just like you usually do, Adrien. You'll have to tell her everything, like how to behave like the higher class. And she will also be labeled a model. You both have a photo shoot tomorrow after noon. And Gabriel Agreste has made a kind offer. You can keep his clothes that you will use during shoots. And the catwalk will be in three days from now. The after tomorrow will be free. Mr. Agreste does not want to exhaust the new model." Said Nathalie.

"Oh, and I almost forgot. Marinette, you will have to contribute a few of your ideas to Gabriel Agreste. He's been running put of ideas and he needs people like you tell him what you teenagers would wear. As he grows older, his youth slips out of him and he needs a bright and young mind working with him. And maybe your dreams will come true, Marinette." Said Nathalie.

I glanced at Marinette and she looked like she's going to explode.

She pointed to herself in an unsteady manner.

"I STILL CAN'T GET OVER THIS! Why does he need me?" Asked Marinette.

"Marinette, just accept the offer. It'll be a deal breaker!" I exclaimed.

She nodded her head and then said, "Okay. Teach me."

After a few more things Nathalie told us like the after-parties and which restaurants are reserved for us, we said our goodbyes and then hung up.

After I got into bed and so did Marinette, I recieved a text that made me realise something.

Something huge.

How could I not think about it?!

Oh, no.
